Stunted And Yellow Tips

Ok, i dont have a camera at the moment but ill try to get a picture up soon. I planted about a month ago in a 2x2 all white cabnet. I have 2 45w CFL hanging from the cabnet onto my plant, about and inch away. My plant is only about 2in tall abd wide, why is its growth so slow? And all the tips have a yellow/burnt on the edges, I have added no nutes yet because the two small leaves have not fallen off yet at bottom. I have a moisture meter that read 1-4 and i give tap water everytime it reads 2-3 (about everyother or every 2 days). No fan, it stays pretty cool in there i think. I mist the leaves with a spray of water everyday. Its in a 6 inc pot, and its on 24/24. I think thats everything i can explain.... any ideas?

hmmm , wut kind of soil are you using ? is it miracle grow? you have two plants right ? and two 45 watt cfl tubes? you should get the coiled cfl's they will provide more light to each plant, are they stretching ? u gott get some pics up

One plant, using Ace Hardware potting soil.

does ace hardware potting soil have any perlit in it ? also did you check the ph , althought its young it might need some nutes .

woa wait a month old ? you got something very wrong to only have 2 inches , u prolly need more light

i think im at 4-5 thousand lumens with the 2 daylight cfls, but isnt two enough? And yes the Ace soil has perlite,
