As my title implies, which is the best method?

I've been watching videos and reading up on the two, but theres too much terminology that i dont understand.
I need someone to tell me which is better, and give me a step by step guide, bearing in mind that i know absolutely nothing about either.
Basically, i wanna seperate thc and cbd.

Thanks!

There is actually no practical reason, other than I want to further my knowledge lol

I seriously don't understand why everybody is wasting so much time and money on all this high grade expensive lab equipment...

Not supercritical, just liquid CO2, under 10 C (preferably 7-8). That way you get the flavor and aroma with it. Supercritical will produce unappealing product. Where'd I get this from? I read it in "Extraction of Natural Products Using Near-Critical Solvents edited by M.B. King, T.R. Bott" in Google Books, starting page 90. Pressure was 50-62 bar. Hops and weed are closely related so results should be similar. That's how I get a lot of ideas about weed extraction.

Look how easy it is to make liquid CO2 from dry ice. A simple glass bottle can take the pressure. This shows that it would be possible to make a home liquid CO2 extractor which you load with dry ice. You wouldn't use glass of course, unless it was very thick.

Apparently it's 700 psi at room temp, from this video. So I guess you'd need a system that could take more than that.
