I understand the sentiment but I think it’s important to remember the people who implemented bad policies are not suffering one bit. The Governor is warm. Ted Cruz would be on a beach in Mexico if he didn’t get caught at the airport.

The citizens are the ones suffering and 40% of them voted for better representation than they got.
You are right about this. The problem with Texas is the elected leadership. About 48% in Texas voted for Biden. To them, I give my sympathy and my respect. They are the ones who will be doing the heavy lifting needed to wrest control of Texas away Trumpers and the idiots in charge.

Deep in the ass of Texas, clop, clop, with an foot long icicle. We will all be paying the extra insurance cost for those burst pipes, insurance companies like to spread the risk around with reinsurance, everybody's rates will increase. Irresponsible governments add up in costs after a time.

Millions In TX Are Without Safe Drinking Water As Power Catastrophe Drags On

Rachel Maddow reports on how failures of the electricity grid in Texas have caused knock-on problems including the inability to pump water, putting nearly half of the state's residents under a boil-water order, assuming they're able to obtain water in the first place.

At least we in the USA have cool neighbors. What if North Korea was to our north and Iran was to our south. I bet we build 2 walls then

You would like any of these ones James. I haven’t tried the IPA as I’m not a big fan of IPA’s but the others are yummy.

Not sure of the increased costs to the general public but I think they're going to get screwed big time.
