Fungus gnats my dude. Dunks bits work well in singular pots but if you running a res and pumps that won't clog the dunk circles are great. Also can't swear by purecrop1 enough. Its a great provenitive and killer but safe shit. I used it with pump sprayer but then got a battery roybi sprayer from lowes for like 100-150 and man that thing is super convenient, battery lasts forever and can choose 3 settings for the size of spray. Sand, hydracorn, etc. 2inches deep, not good climbers. De was good advice, ld sprinkle over surface is silica so good for plant.
Heard sand works great but haven't tried if they come back through dunks I'd give this a go. DE is something ppl say but it can be nasty if inhaled so a bit more precaution should be taken. Never messed with that either.

You can get food grade DE which is safe, people put it in their pool filters to help clean the pool and prolong the filter life, but Just like with mixing anything in your soil, you should always take precautions, I use a mask when mixing my beds but I'm also mixing in several other things..

This stuff will get rid of them. I use a couple drops every time I water. No More Gnats!

I bought this a few years ago, but I couldn't do the mathematical reduction to find the dosage. I was dipping a toothpick into it and then stirring it in my res. I actually bought some more today after I posted this. I've had some in my Amazon cart for a few weeks, but haven't pulled the trigger because I was battling thrips, and the gnats were getting caught in the crossfire. I think I finished off the thrips, so I'm going to start using it regularly. I also have a bunch of other leftover stuff I can hit them with now. I have an unopen bottle of spinosad and a good amount of BotaniGard 22 WP.

Just the term "pot worm
I'm growing in rockwool, btw. I found it pretty easy to get rid of them when I grew in coco, but I'm not sure how to keep them away from my old mother plants aside from Microbe-Lift or something similar.
The old plants emit pheromones that attract predation

Aside from gnats, I've never had to deal with any pests until recently. Learning about them has been interesting.

While we're on the subject, one thing I've been wondering is are there nematodes who eat other nematodes? Are there friendly blends and self destructive blends? The thrip wars have me paranoid so I'd like to use nematodes to wipe out any pests that might be lingering in my flowering plants. I'm aware that there are some nematodes that hang out in the soil and some that roam around. I would like to use both kinds, but I'm unsure of which to use and if they would compete.

I hear Steinernema Feltiae and Hypoaspis Miles are good, but I think both are soil dwellers. I'm not too sure about the leaf roaming ones. I read about Minute Pirate Bugs, but then I read they would eat the plant when they ran out of prey. And they also bite humans, so forget those little mugs. What's good and will they eat each other?

Trichoderma inoculation helps with media based pest control.

Personally I always have something on hand.

I have neem, Monterey’s garden insect spray (Spinosad), smoke bombs, citric acid, H2o2, Diatomacious Earth, yellow sticky traps.

I very rarely have to use any of this besides renewing sticky traps which only catch fucking leaves at the minute and make tears in them lol while leaving the leaf parts behind on the sticky lmao.
