TGA Deep Purple day 67 - PURPLE

I popped 5 DP beans and found 2 females, only 1 female was worth flowering and it had self topped its self from the beginning. By day 45 I was convinced I had a green pheno, as you can see at day 67 she's on of the most purple DP's I've seen in person or online. As far as the strain goes unstable with lots of mutants (I've talked to a few others with this experience) but man if you find a good one... just look at her. The smell is like grape fruit punch.

looks great man, if you have the space and time try pollinating a female with a male. i did straight away before even growing it out by myself( ive seen it in multiple gardens previously to trying it myself). it seemed to help uniformity in the sense that i only have 2 distinct phenos, one being the purple funk i see you have the other being a little larger green guy. i kept the purple dankness.
*i noticed your plant is quite far along, i have personally never had deep purple go bast 58 days. but i enjoy harvesting indicas with 10 percent clear trichs.

Since you bring it up.... I'm doing a Bubblegum (serious seeds) male to Dynamite, Chemdawg and Bubblegum currently, my next run will have my male Deep Purple hitting Dynamite, Deep Purple and Purple Elephant (purple urkle x unknown).

The fade was from green to purple on this...

Jarred this up today and in true TGA fashion found bananas sticking out the buds (yellow contrasts nicely with purple).

harsh man sorry bout the nanners. that dp x dynamite will surly blow minds man. great choice. let me know how that gos.

Cannabiscuit... killing the Dynamite x DP cross... discarding my male deep purple and honestly Sub should take this off the market and work it a little before REREleasing it. Help others not have the same results, but i know there are tons of posts about hermies in TGA gear so thats not happening. My reason for scrapping the whole breeding project was quality control, as a wise breeder recently said... Gimp in = Gimp out... meaning if you start with an inferior plant, you'll end up with an inferior plant. The male could be a perfect specimen with no hermie traits in him, but why take the chance? I got a nice bubblegum male to work with (no hermies on the 4 females I got from it) and I'm popping some MR Nice soon and should get a male from that. I'm going to stick with stable strains from now on when it comes to the fathers.

hey man that sounds completely reasonable, i believe in a very firm hand in choosing breeding members. i guess i got lucky. i recently got some kaboom crossed with webstir ( ww x trainwreck) it was kaboom as the father. very nice cross. huge yields.
my roommate has bubble gum and bubblicious. he is very very pleased with both. good luck in using the new genetics i hope they meet your needs and goals. my next idea is blue dream x tahoe og. got females and males of both just trying to identify some leaders in the pack.
