The BHO is just as nice...

I bought 100 cans of cheap butane (it says 99,999 purity, but it smells like shit compared to previous one so I guess it's shit). BHO comes very orange-yellow and I found some water on my dry BHO too. I guess it's from butane? Maybe they mix butane and water in cans?
Also, my yields goes up. IDK if it's because I soak 30 minutes before open valves, or it's butane and it extract something more than other butane? Or it's my trim? :D

What's your setup? Post a picture?

My setup is BHO tube with two valves and pressure meter. Why that matter?
The water can be from condensation if you're open blasting. It's summertime, things sweat. The color sounds like the material oxidized during drying /storage, or the bho was heated up too much during the purge. A picture would help. It could be the butane though. I've always played it safe with Whip It Premium.

When I used to blast into a dish during the summer I would have to hold the PTFE film sideways and turn it different ways to gather pockets of water that I would lance and drain before I put the paddy in the oven. It reminded me of one of these things. maxresdefault.jpg

Yea, I use PTFE in my dish. I let it dry outside overnight and today I scrape it. A lot of water was on the PTFE. Then I scrape it, move into parchment paper and leave it an hour. Then I picture it, there is some more new water on small 5x5 cm paper as you can see. Return from 100g dry trim is 14.7g, some sugar leaves and some lower buds. I think this is a lot, so I guess something is inside BHO. Yea I know, terpenes, THC and other cannabioids... but I never had that yield (usually below 10%) and I do the same everytime. Only now I have something different is this stinky butane.

One pic is without flash, other is with flash. Before I scrape it, was more yellow-orange. Now is little less colorful, more like wood on your picture with marbles. It's not decarbed yet, I do cookies from it because that's how I know dosage everytime.

That looks pretty good. You don't vacuum purge it at all? I guess decarbing does that. If it were me I would put it in my vac oven and see what happens, then dab it if it looked decent. But in your situation I'm not sure. Does it smell unusual? Also why to you transfer it to parchment paper?

I highly doubt the butane is adding noticeable weight. It could be the moisture. I've noticed that my first runs are always the lightest, both weight and color wise. The darker color is the material oxidizing over time. The extra weight is loose trichomes falling and collecting towards the bottom of the bin.

Also I don't mind hijacking this older thread because the OP only wanted to brag and is keeping his crc process top secret like a douche.

On parchent it goes because I weight it and then calculate dosage. 5x5 cm is footprint of jewelry scale, so that's why parchment paper.

No, I don't vacuum it, because I don't have it. Just decarb in oven and then do cookies. Smell is okay when decarbing, actually very fruity and delicious.
I don't do cookies with flower, BHO is more accurate, can go with decimals.
