So what are you hoping to ride? The dog or pony? Political diversion from actual application of our legislative laws. Diversion from Bimbo's failure to overturn Frumps pro corporate criminality orders. His backing down on pledged stimulus values for checks. His allowing the minority reps in the senate and house dictate how his government will operate???? WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!!!"

I do not promote a raised any thing beyond a voice and a phone call. Call your reps. State your belief on this lie.
'the chit is going to hit the fan.i wish i could tell you'.

I don't think so. As Rep. Sewell said about getting witnesses, it is always pre-determined, "We could have had God herself testify and it wouldn't have changed a vote." Republicans are the antithesis of justice.
The republicans know if he got impeached that hurts them down the road. They don’t care about him breaking laws

They have always been. They’re just now becoming more public and it’s actually accepted.

actually once the civil rights was televised and brought into your living room did things change.

he groomed these people over the course of a year and he is guilty as hell.

mcconnell said he didn't get away with 'anything yet'.bet you Sicknick family would have something to say about that.

Being guilty and getting convicted are two different things. I wouldn’t get your hopes up. I don’t see Trump doing any time.

Mitch had the keys all along. If this trial proceeded faster instead of Mitch delaying the trial, maybe the vote to conviction would be different if Trump was still a government official.
Yeah it was fucked from the moment Trump's cultists started breaking into the capital building.

It is weird to watch these videos knowing that Trump was sending in a horde of MAGA supporters right as they started pushing back the police into the capital allowing the mass people mindlessly wander right up to the doors. All the drunk parade tourists provided a lot of cover.

Biggest witch hunt ever. Hang on, wait a minute...

“Our historic, patriotic and beautiful movement to Make America Great Again has only just begun. In the months ahead, I have much to share with you, and I look forward to continuing our incredible journey together to achieve American greatness for all of our people,” he said in the statement.

In the statement, Trump gave his “deepest thanks” to the Republicans in the Senate who he said “stood proudly for the Constitution we all revere and for the sacred legal principles at the heart of our country.”

“I also want to convey my gratitude to the millions of decent, hardworking, law-abiding, God-and-Country loving citizens who have bravely supported these important principles in these very difficult and challenging times,” Trump said.

Trump decried what he described as the “latest phase of the greatest witch hunt in the history of our Country.”

“It is a sad commentary on our times that one political party in America is given a free pass to denigrate the rule of law, defame law enforcement, cheer mobs, excuse rioters, and transform justice into a tool of political vengeance, and persecute, blacklist, cancel and suppress all people and viewpoints with whom or which they disagree,” Trump said.

“I always have, and always will, be a champion for the unwavering rule of law, the heroes of law enforcement, and the right of Americans to peacefully and honorably debate the issues of the day without malice and without hate,” he added.

Excuse me, I think I have to go throw up.
he won't stop until he's gone permanently however that unfolds:wink::wink:

next thing you know they'll care about the budget..oh wait!
The GOP signaled in late summer they knew they were going to lose when they started to care about deficient spending again. That is one area they are consistent on. When not in power, they care deeply about the deficient.

What Mitch cares about is his leadership position. That was and is what is driving all his decisions. If he had spoke out against Mr Trumpf and voted to convict, there were not nine more GOP senators to follow him. And even if there had been, there would have still been more against him, and they would have stripped him of his leadership role. He hates Trumpf, and (rightly) blames him for the losses in Georgia and thus his role as Majority Leader. 80% of the GOP electorate are still in Trumpf's pocket. The sane wing of that party are going to take a beating in primaries. But it will take them losing what they thought of as safe seats before there is any real distance between the GOP and Mr Trumpf.

With respect, I'll offer a counter argument.

The Republican Party's polices have always been "borrow from the future to enrich the wealthy and suppress everybody else". When they couldn't get enough votes through their fake economic conservatism, they allied with social conservatives who want to take away minority and women's rights. Together, they pretty much had their way throughout the last 25 years of the 20th century and the first 10 years of this century.

This isn't Stockholm syndrome. I'm no captive of Democrats and Trump's authoritarian followers aren't captives. Republicans are doing what they always have done. The facts are clear on this. Republicans are a party of authoritarians who will do anything to hold power. They lie and cheat so that they can steal. When Republicans saw that their social conservative faction wasn't enough to maintain their grip on DC, they resorted to paramilitary groups to overthrow the government.

Well they hated that creep before he became President, Now they love him for some freaking Reason, I am just saying, Yes they are spineless bastards.

I certainly don't disagree with what your saying either. all I know is there are 47 spineless bastards that will pay one way or another for what they did yesterday.

It's fucking SAD
