I'm truly have to be honest I don't live in a area where weed smokers are welcome. Instead of trying to find good weed and running into an undercover cop. I want to grow my own Mary Jane I was thinking maybe 4 plants 2 600 w or 400 w lights. In one of those big tents. However i been researching bust in my area and it seems people get busted because of the smell leaking outside of the home besides the one idiot with 7 ft tall plants growing in his backyard. Does the carbon filter and fan stop the smell completely if done right or is this a myth? If so I thinking these people just didn't care.

But does that eliminate the smell completely. Because i want to have 100 percent no smell outside the home if im going to do this.

Honestly man If you are this nervous already you may wanna rethink this endeavour as you may give yourself a heart attack before you harvest. But to answer your question. As long as you have the proper size fan and filter you will not smell a thing outside of tent or room.

Im not nervous babes. I just like to do my home work. Don't want to do anything stupid. So knowledge is power. Like I said most bust in my area is because someone could smell the marijuana though the house

That is until you harvest and take those little darlings out of the tent to trim and dry. Then you either need a fan/filter big enough to scrub your workroom (doesn't need to exhaust back outside) or your whole house will reek for days. Anyone coming to the door will know.

You're really gonna stink things up when you cut/dry/cure those bitches. Unable to control most of it. Something to think about.
I would move!!

as long as your tent has a carbon filter and adequate negative air pressure, you will be fine regarding smell. during harvest, i suggest you harvest your girls in the middle of the night and then hang them in your grow area (with carbon filter) to dry and you will be fine. as long as you Don't Tell, Don't Smell, and Don't Sell you will be fine. good luck with your grow!

No smell with carbon filter. Do your cutting and drying inside of the grow area and the fan will pull the smell into the filter.
Good luck.
