If you can smoke out in your place without trouble you should be good with a carbon filter as no smell should make it out of your place. Inside your place is another story ever had someone with dank ass bud standing no wear near you and you can smell it in their pocket? Imagine whats going to happen when you open the tent to do maintenance wile your plants are in flower. The smell will go away shortly after you close the tent as it will get sucked in and filtered. But just like when you smoke a fatty inside your place it will smell for a minute. My place generally smells like weed even if nothing is flowering but I have no worries at my location.

A bunch of people already mentioned it, but harvest is what will screw you. I used to be in a small apartment with an attached garage. Had a 1000 watt with 6 plants. Every time I harvested, I would chop them down, throw then in plastic totes, and drive a few miles to a friends house where he let me trim and hang in his garage.

Or you could Breaking Bad that shit and take an RV out to the desert.

LOL im not going in a desert or rv lol. I'll just hang the neutralizersame around the house. For the harvest. I'm not worried about the inside to much. I just don't want the smell to leak out.

The RV thing was a joke.

The thing is that harvest reeks. The smell will leak out of every little crack and crevice in your place. You won't notice it like other people will because you're living in the smell. Depending on the size of your place, it will even permeate your bed, clothing, etc.

Whatever you do, just be careful af.

Get you a deep cycle battery and inverter in case the power goes out.

When the power goes out they start to stink real quick.

Use a filter and fan in your tent and another filter and fan outside the tent.

You should be good to go.

Don't get that neutralizer any where near the air that can get to your plants. Never use it in your house if you are growing in your house!!!
On the bright side. If you do you will not need to neutralize the smell of your plants as it will remove all of the smell of your weed while it is growing!:o
I don't think you want that.
All you need is negative air pressure and keep your fan going into the filter at all times. Simple.

Lol, of course carbon filters filter basically all of the smell as long as you have the proper fan and filter for your size room.

An inline fan. Don't go with the "duct fans", aka fart snatchers, go for the inline turbine fans. Also get a speed controller. On high they will suck the zippers off a small tent. With these fans you might need a muffler like you mentioned. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KWYJQYA/ref=asc_df_B00KWYJQYA4811888/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=394997&creativeASIN=B00KWYJQYA&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167116234959&hvpos=1o7&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4969150631693370094&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9052564&hvtargid=pla-274283617125

Basically you are sucking air out of the tent through your carbon filter. You will see the sides of the tent pull in. negative pressure.

So for a 400 cfm fan, if you have a 2x4x5 tent, (40 cubic feet), you will be changing the air 10 times a minute on full strength.
