Thin out or not?

I’ve got two Purple Punch and two Wedding Cake. They’re planted close I know.... I’ve lollipopped them, done some super cropping earlier on and some LST training. If they were in the usual 200gallon soil savers I’d leave them alone, but they’re obviously growing in to each other and theyve still got a lot of growth ahead of them!

I’ve got tons of tops and I’m considering thinning out possibly half of them by Aug 1st.
I’m not looking to get maximum yield or anything like that cause I give away most of my weed to friends anyway.
Mostly interested in avoiding any mold issues and increase bud size.

First two are PP. started a few weeks earlier than the WC.View attachment 4617041View attachment 4617042View attachment 4617043View attachment 4617044

I just watched a video on pruning... have you considered supercropping? It allows better airflow to the entire plant and increases overall yield and rigidity

No worries. I was thinking of thinning out a the tops. I’m more interested in bigger buds.

The video that I watched said its best to leave the 3 branches underneath the top flower site so that when supercropping it turns into another bud site since it'll now receive better light
