Thoughts on Genetically altered plants?

Just wanted to know your thoughts on some of the genetically altered products (not that I could ever afford any), Forever Buds or Never Dies Cannabis Plant that comes back as an annual every year. Outside of the astronomical costs is there really a market?

They seem to have plenty of reviews of their lower-priced non-modified high CBD products like Annihilation. which seems to be only for heavyweight smokers and definitely comes with warnings on the consumption of this strain. That one scares me...lol

I dont think there are many people dropping a 100K on genetically modified seeds. How would a genetically modified seed breed with a regular seed? Would any traits be transferred over or is this just something done in the lab? Any opinions on this?

It doesn't exist. It's nonsense. Why they made this crap up I don't know. But if you go to the site and try and buy it you're redirected to another site selling White Widow seeds.

As for GM plants they have their place. Millions of people are being fed because of GM drought resistant varieties of corn and wheat. As for cannabis, I don't think it's a candidate for GM as it's not a vital crop that sustains life. But without some of the GM varieties of certain crops. People would go hungry.

That's what came to my mind but maybe I'm confusing genetically altered with genetically engineered?
