Looks like you mioght have some nute burn on the plant in picture #2. Careful when you water using
nutes dissolved in the water.

BigSteve.

Looks like a kush?

Crazy thing is i havent used nutes....just plain poland spring drinking water. and yeah they look a lil small but theyve been through hell and back i drop them a couple times and the light isnt the greatest a 400w with bullshit htgsupply bulbs...as far as the strain its a funny story: my homeboy got about a QP his dealer said it was some Girl scout cookies buuut im in new york so these halftime hustlas name it wateva ...it had a bunch of seeds but the smoke was amazing...cmon guys more comments opinions

You should star feeding. That's prolly why there that size. Pic 2 looks hungray..... Go to amazon if you want a good light.. I don trust egay..

So wat is it guys ...nute burn or i should start feeding??? I used ffof with a lil extra perlite ...which ive heard is pretty hot...watever that means...and i just transplanted into those much bigger pots they were in solo cups for about 19 days which im guessin wasnt too good...next go around ima try that happy frog mix w/ffof...next lights im aiming for a dimm.1000w or just a dimm .600w..which im sure is gonna be a huge boost just kinda low on funds..im thinkin to start flowring as soon as i get said light which hopefully can be by the end of this month....more comments cmon guys help me out here

haha nice man. upload pics as it grows bigger so we can tell if it a sativa or indica and when you harvest tell us how the smoke is:-o

How far away is your light? What is the temp\ventilation like in there? How often are you watering anyways, looks kinda dry granted I only see the surface.

I mean, I use HTG bulbs and stuff too (and this is actually a 600w HPS dimmed to 300w even though I really should have just got a 400w MH bulb).Monster3wksTop.jpg
This plant was just about 4 weeks from the time seed was planted. And my mix is also Ocean Forest -based.

Just saying don't blame the bulbs.

tbh, it looks like your doing too much. if it's your first grow, try to keep things simple as possible. focus on the key factors such as watering properly, keeping temps and humidity in range and ultimately keeping your plants happy.

i don't see any nute burn but i do see that you have an issue with under watering or possibly letting your soil dry out for an extended period of time (basically letting it go dry too long).

^ Good advise. Just keep it simple as Fresh says, also, Way to early to be super cropping. You have to fight the urge to want to mess with them and tweak them. Sometimes even when things are looking good, I still want to try to feed a little more, or manipulate this or that, but a lot of the time its counter productive. You can find good articles on RIU about super cropping or other various techniques.

Good luck

Wow nullis that a lil beast right there ... i gotta do better.. The light is kinda high too...and thanks with the watering tips guys....keep em comin.. i can take some blows like nullis just did...J/k...btw nullis did u nute by that time or just plain water ?

A 400w I wouldn't keep any further than 8-12" away from the canopy, the lower end of that is for an air cooled hood with a lens.

And my bad, that plant is in mostly Happy Frog that has been amended a bit. Ocean Forest-based mix next transplant. Ocean Forest has more nutrients in it than Happy Frog (alone).
So basically started in Happy Frog with dolomite and kelp meal. Mainly water the first couple weeks, but small amounts (1/4 tsp Bio-Root and Bio-Weed per gallon). Mostly just Bio-Root (5 ml) then some Bio-Marine at 2.5 ml and later at 5 ml along with the Diamond Black (humic acids) at 2.5 ml, these are all half gallons but still pretty low rates.

Then it was transplanted into another HF based mix, more heavily amended with coco coir, humus, dolomite lime, eggshell flour, Azomite, Espoma Citrus-Tone (5-2-6) and a little bit more Kelp meal. An inch of OF was placed at the bottom of each container, I didn't have enough to use it for the base. Had I more Ocean Forest I might have laid off the Citrus-Tone until next transplant. After transplant they are again given basically just Bio-Root and sometimes Hi-Brix molasses. Then the teas begin for foliar and drench applications every now and then.

Got that recipe on lock....sounds like alot...but i gotta get on my grind with this ....20121106_011000.jpg20121106_010923.jpg20121106_010950.jpg20121106_011054.jpg20121106_011026.jpg here are a couple more pics...of the weirdo...and my set up just noticed that light is like 2 feet away ...smh...noobie ish....but keep in mind i have the hood but its bare bulb i took away the glass recently and didnt notice much change in temp...just not alot of negative pressure in the tent ..which i like ...and yes i am doin to much but i have a pretty decent grasp on on how to do this but this more hands on /trail and error/letssee how this works sorta thing...gonna lower those lights asap.

"too hot" is referring to the amount of nutrient charge ffof has. It can some times be a little strong for young plants and cause some burn. I will just reiterate my two cents from before, because I really feel that those plants are too small to be super cropping. Thats why your one plant is all twisted up and droopy. Front left. They are just trying to establish themselves right now and if you are messing with them too much, it will stunt them. Either way, best of luck.
