All that matters is finding your voice and getting it in his ear hole as it were. My dad is the same way with it all but has turned a new leaf in a similar fashion. :) Glad things are working out for you, one way or another you should both enjoy the hobby!

Yeah, I think I missed the whole dang seminar on what a women is suppose to do. For instance I never follow aman that is mad around and continue to yell at him, when he's clearly trying to find a spot to cool down. I never ever tease a man all night, including shoving cleavage in his face and then get mad and act offended when he tries something. And then call my boyfriend over and start a fight. Dumb I never ever do name calling or insult his "manhood" even dumber. And no matter what he'd done or what I THINK he's done, personal property is off limits, don't destroy something of theirs, it just makes stuff worse Dumb, dumb, dumb. But I can tell you that this issue has been resolved. When it came time for planting the clones, I talked him into just trying 2 things. One perilyte in the soil and using molasses on this batch. They have already caught up to the mother plants and are looking great. Since the first batch was out of seeds, I had him take all the males from one plant, clones and all and look at the difference in the root mass. The root mass on the clones was almost 3X's that of the plants in his mixture. That pretty much settled that. And unfortunatly although I am able to make suggestions, do watering and some other small stuff, my disablitity keeps me from being able to lift the plants once they are beyond 1 or 2 gallon buckets, so I really couldn't do a competition with him. BUT now I have another question, just my personal observations I'd like some feedback on. I keep seeing CFL grows were the plants look elongated. I've even seen them tying up branches and stuff. Ours look more like regular outside or HID tent grows. Lots of foilage and although growing steady not a lot of room between leaf sets. We are grooming about once a week and removing some of the leaves, but what I'm wondering is are they actually elongating or are they removing much more of the leaves than us and leaving them looking "bare". Both of our CFL lighting rigs are set to be with-in 1-2 inches of the plants. If you want a look check it out under Mynana420, and LamdenMMX. I'm just learning how to use both sights, and am just learning how to upload vid's. Also How do I find my posts here. I've asked another question, but can't find where I posted it?
to c ur post go to ur profile and there will be a spot under ur profile pic that says view all posts and it'll show u newest-oldest. Hope this helps. At least u r slowly getting it in his brain! Lol. Soon hell c he should listen to ur opinions on gardening. I personally don't like to trim leaves. Maybe stoney can hit on that for u a lil later.

This is GREAT news!!!!! i was wondering what the outcome was... I didn't know if you would visit us again... I'm glad ya did!!! and so happy you guys found a great hobby to share!! it will only bring the two of you closer!!! once you have things dialed in, it will make that bond even tighter.

It's like teams that are winning... they all get along.but just as soon as they're losing they fight!! same with growing... when they are happy, you are happy. when they are sick, you are sad.

you should subscribe to a thread when you like it. It is the last option when you look under the drop down called "thread tools" on the top right of every thread. then when you click on ""my rollitup" it shows all the threads you chose that have new posts in them.

Or you can also find everything you started or posted in fro your profile page.... Just as naturesfinest has posted below.

good luck and I really hope we get to see ya in here again!!! I'm gonna check out your thread very soon!!!!!! enjoy!

What's new with the V3?
The v3's now have 120 degree angle white lenses and the power supplies are smaller so it lowers the intensity of the lights. and they do not have glass in them to block any light. they are now 150W instead of 180W. and the spectrums were changed just a tad to make them more like the 2010 models.

Anyone that is having burn issues with the V1 or V2's, Mike is replacing the power supplies for free.

I installed my new GLH V3 150W panels. the light from these look very "crisp" I think the glass out makes them look better to!! gotta be careful though, you can get a shock if ya touch the wrong part!!!!!!! i found out the hard way... wasn't bad, just scared me that's all!!!

but anyway here is a pic of the three different 2011 models. V1(left) more purple, V2 (center) very bright and has an orange look to it, and the V3(right) has more of a dark red look to it.

when looking at the plants they look very green under the new V3 lights. much easier to see problems and things!! the photos don't look like it though... the pics look red, nt the same in real life.

WOW dude!!! that is impressive. many other plants have been totally fried at that distance from many other users!!

personally, I feel you should raise it higher if you can. the V1's and V2's are so intense they are not made for everyone.... Mike told be if you could get a 180 six foot above the canopy it would flower a 4 x4 area!!! the problem is the panels are so bright, the plants are shutting down and actually slows down bud growth. Mike is aware of this and is offering free power supplies to anyone who bought v1's and 2's. you should hit him up for replacements. at least to try them out and see what works better for you. it's a simple replacement and i'm sure you would get to keep the old supplies and switch em back if you don't like them. I would at least try if I were you.

don't just take my word for it though... see what GLH veterans have to say. Or call GLH and ask Michael himself, and see what he has to say. He is an awesome guy and always seems to educate me a little more each time i talk to him!!!

i have two power supplies comin g ,they started of at 40 inches away and grew up towards the light with the light never being moved i cant raise it any higher but at the same time does it look damaged,oh it might be slowing down bud growth guess i will put the new power supplies in cuz i feel they should be farther along, but they did get sick for like 2 weeks thanks

sweet deal man!!! sorry if you already posted that and i missed it... with RIU being so slow lately I've been chillin on other forums.

don't get discouraged if the new PS's don't make this plant turn round right away. there is a small chance that it has permanently damaged the plant. I feel really good about the new PS's in the V2's and they may be the best out of all the three!! I know my buds under the V2 are much bigger than the ones under the V1's.
