Hey do you own a Timber? Are you looking at them? Have a question about these fixtures? This is that thread!

I am calling on all Timber owners to group together and share their experience and maybe help a fellow owner or maybe somebody curious what these lights are all about.

My story,

About 16 or so months ago, right after I first started growing I was looking for a better light. Having listened to a guy at a grow shop telling me a 315 CMH was right for a 5x5. I went in search for ideas here on RIU, was actually looking at a 630 CMH. I clicked a link somewhere that took me to Timbers website, at first I thought damn thats a sexy light, and after thinking about it for a week or two I got my first, a Fatty VS!

Since then I added a 3VL and two Redwood VS's, I call them the twins.

Also this thread was created with @RainDan blessing and has agreed to field technical questions or concerns. Just add @RainDan!

Owners lets hear what you like or dislike (I can't imagine) about your lights, or please post up some pics to show what you got going on.

I hope this thread stays going! I have a Timber 4vl and I love it. I'm a huge fan of Timbers customer service specifically @RainDan. I've told this story before but if bought my light and then built my room. Several months after I bought it I finally turned it on and two of the four cobs didn't light. I emailed Timber and a few minutes later @RainDan got back and said to check the fuses. One was bad. He told me about the spare fuses stored on the light! I replaced it and it worked. A few days later I got some new fuses in the mail he sent me! What a dude! I recently mounted my drivers outside my room for less heat with cables from Timber. Easy peasy. I'm a Timber fan and want another 4vl to replace my old Tasty Cree cob fixture when I can afford it.

Hey @Flatrate ...thanks man I appreciate that.
My veg/prep tent has an sf2000 and two sp150's.
Flower as you know, 2x 3vl by TIMBER and 1xsp250 and 2xsp150's....takes a bit for the change of light/spectrum acclimatization to occur.
I kinda fudged this run...two new strains under these, and I ran them a little close to start.
Usually start high at full....I have 8 ft ceiling in my room, then lower as the plants get used to them.
Oh well, buds are coming along for timeframe.
Thanks for asking Bro...

I just bought a Fatty configured with 5-1750k, 2 -3500k and 2 -4k. I love this light. The construction is second to none. They pay attention to the details. Also, wholeheartedly agree that Dan is awesome to deal with. I'm just into my second week of a RDWC grow using auto flowers. Using them to help me dial in settings before going full photo period. I'm hoping and expecting great results from this light. Fatty. 2500k.avg.jpg
