I use to think it mattered but the truth is, it's the trichomes that get you high, and I personally don't think it matters when you cut them, as long as they are somewhat done. There are people that say you need to keep your indoor plants in darkness for days before harvesting. There's all kinds of myths...I think they are just that...myths. I've never been able to tell the difference, so now I chop when I feel like trimming
