To remove or not to remove (thinning out limbs)

This is my first grow so bear with me. Her name is Sharon. Just growing for fun so I can be Sharon bud with my friends.

I just started my fourth week after switching to flowering and just defoliated most of my plant. However, there are a few limbs that are smaller and lower on my plant that I’m wondering if I should remove? Not sure if they will detract from the upper limbs being able to produce larger colas and they will just be small and a pain to trim and not worth it. Or if they’ve already used enough energy that it would be detrimental to remove them at this point.

Would appreciate some advice on whether I should prune some of these lower limbs (as well as some of the smaller offshoots) or if they are fine to leave as is. Any other tips appreciated! Thanks!

They're fine as is. I would prune them, only because I hate trimming small stuff at harvest, and for an open clean appearance.

It's a nice start.
I use netting to get the canopy a bit more even when using artificial lighting.
Because indoor lighting intensity drops off quite quickly because of the inverse square law, having flowers 12" below the canopy usually doesn't fill out as well.
Outdoor grows don't have issues with light levels changing through the canopy so it's not as critical.

Don't trim whole branches, just take off all the growth below the top 12". You nailed it yourself when you said they will detract from the main colas and be a pita to trim.
