Good morning rollitup family. I hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday. Okay these are gsc auto from nirvana. I had some series problems with these guys in beginning. They are about 3 weeks flowering now. I need to take some of the leaves off blocking bid sights they bushy ugh. What should I do? First time with auto girl scout cookies auto. Should I take just Gan leaves that are blocking sights or let it be way to many leaves

I’d free the bud sites up. Then strip a little more when 80-90% hairs a brown to let the lower buds ripen.

Super cropping is my favourite thing recently. Grab a mature branch and bend it so the branch is at an angle to the light. Really helps get light down in the canopy.

As long as you don’t completely rip it off they can be taped back together and create a knuckle joint.

Also another tip is that you don’t want any light patches on the tent/grow room floor. This is wasted light and shows you removed too many leaves

Cool I don't know why some people said let it go since its 3rd week flower. Okay I am listening to you so I am going to free bud sites up. Is it to late to remove lower leaves for

Wait……you have been on here for 14 years and have learned a lot?

More leaves means more food for the plant and that will be sent to the lower sites so wait until the tops are all ripe, harvest them so it lets all the light down to the lower buds to fatten ad ripen them over the next 10 days or so. Make all the bud decent and cut way down on larf.

I'm just growing autos outside and the sun goes all over so the more leaves the better. The more food the plant can make the more it stores away that the smaller buds soak up to grow bigger and faster at the end. Leaves are the solar panels that power the plant and autos need to be able to grow as fast as possible to maximize the yield.

I agree with this approach. I tend to harvest the whole plant in one go, but I open up bud sites to light with LST and/or SCROG. I don't defoliate unless a fan leaf is dying off anyway. If leaves are overshadowing buds you can always tuck them underneath.
