Today's bud?

I'm 43 tried marijuana 1st when i was 13 l, didn't like it at all regs bought it in tin foil packaging, then when i was 18 i smoked hydro and omg i Fell in love lol smoked and sold pot regularly till about 2004 took a break came back in 2005 & ever since then i have yet to find and smoke good dank skunk resin filled bud ! When i was younger in my hey day do to speak, all the bud we smoked was hydroponically grown. Seems today's bud, one is all dirt grown, two no where close to as good, sticky resinous, even the odor not close to as strong as what i used to smoke before legal bud hit the scene ? I think all the high THC content claims Is a bunch of B's ! Today's bud imo is extremely subpar! I'm a smoker and enjoyed good marijuana today's bud more times than Less seems like garbage or as if there's no THC whatsoever in the bud i currently smoking regardless it's from jungle boys and packaged accordingly. Bud looks great but scene super off and low and the way it breaks up is grainy and it smoked terrible too, ash very flaky ????? I unfortunately deleted the good pics i had of all the bud i been Getting and btw u even went out to la back in 17 and even there through the weed jungle boys and a lot of other dispensaries, i was not impressed,street weed was ten times better sticker the smell the taste etc etc etc was ten times better and more potent ? How and why Is this so

I blame shit growers, and even shittier people that decide to put it out there to be sold.

I agree 100% with 2hqt you just said! Today's growers think they got good stuff cause it sells but honestly i think most weed smokers i come across these days don't know shit shit shit ! And I'm in Brooklyn NY i say this cause we used to get some of the 3best weed around, before it went legal i almost NEVER came across bad bud

I bought from a bc seed depot, strawberry cough FEM, & northern lights FEM started a plant but it was my 1st end i didn't switch it to flower at the right time, plant got TOO talk for grow space ,i had to throw it out! Sadly i was growing hydroponic using a 1 site dwc set up, bay he f to try again. Thus time using a higher wattage grow light maybe an hps what would you suggest ?

Go with an LED. What size footprint do you want to light up? We can recommend some brands/models if we know the space you're working with. But I can definitely recommend HLG for premium lights. Black Friday is coming up, that's generally a good time to buy a light.

Soil did correctly beats hydro imo sorry op i gotta disagree with you there the end products so much better if they can grow decent weed and personally its illegal where im at we go by how it smokes anyone with half a brain would go with that regardless of legality thc content isnt everything its cracked up to be theres so much more involved im not big into alot of modern strains in general some are ok tho

I have like 10 FEM seeds left, how many plants can I grow under just one light? How much energy will that light use and cost me? I have only one dwc bucket but i can easily get more if need be maybe I'll even get w tent

I been smoking hydro since 1998 and up till 2004, 2005 anything i ever smoked was as good as can be then the legal stuff came around and honestly I've been nothing but disappointed! Sometimes the bud is super dense and a small soil grown bud breaks up into a nice amount impressively but it's so not often i get such good bud especially at a decent price. In NYC i been to two dispensary's first one was really bad on 14 street and 2nd Ave i forget name second one be Brooklyn was barely ok so i losing all faith and hope too many people in the weed game talking good producing and dealing garbage unless it's purposely to me, they hiding it from.me
