Trichome photos how long to go?

The goal is the best product you can produce. Some only personal. Some for others.
You’d be a fool to think highest THC makes the best weed. Lmao
The goal often isn't that clear cut. And of course there's more to it than thc, but the amber trichs are degraded cannabanoids that don't add pleasing effect. Some of them actually cause discomfort.

Its a balance between quality, yield, and time. If you can make another full cycle per year with product that is 95% of what it can be, or the best possible with half the yearly yield, I'll take 95% every time.

Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

Most growers are growing to fit personal needs. With today’s advancement in the culture we’re able to purchase rather than “guess”. The rest is under the green thumb which is mostly common sense.
harvesting when ripe being one. And considering the amount of damage most growers put on their plants. Trichome maturity can be false leading. Every strain is different. Harvesting doesn’t make the strains effects

I gave a bit longer then a bit more then started to chop it today, it's done and ready for sure!

The picture doesn't do the plant justice tbh.

That should be a decent pile of weed :-)

And I prefer to grow to the best of my knowledge and capabilities ✌
Those same skills produce different results when there are more criteria than a single persons taste as a desired outcome.

In today's landscape, being able to successfully harvest large quantities of a lab tested product is a legitimate job skill.

There's nothing wrong with offering a good product to people. In the calculations it's how much more value is added to the product in a given time span vs the probability of mold or another issue causing problems.

One plant with pm in the buds can fail a whole room for spore testing.

My point being, there is no one size fits all, "you must harvest this exact day". It's a window, and different situations call for harvesting at different times in that window.

Yeah. But there is a harvest to early and your weed will taste and smell like shit.
Every strain has a window point of harvest and you nor I. And anyone else gets to decide when that is. The plant does. If you prefer smoking hay rubbish after hard work. That’s okay. I don’t question anyone’s personal preference on that. But as for harvest. There is a right time and there is definitely a wrong time. (Early)

Again you're comparing personal taste which is impossible to argue.

There is usually around a 10-14 day window that if harvested in most consumers would consider it done. Where you pick in that time period varies for lots of reasons.

What's your argument? That there is a specific day and hour to harvest and any other time is just wrong?

2 week window huh. Wow Interesting. I don’t argue. There’s no benefit win or lose.
Just telling that sone strains harvest at 10 weeks by genetics. Others 15 by genetics. And there’s no changing that. Speaks for itself.

For the most part small scale/tent growers are primarily interested in quality, at a push I think there's a minimal time required that any less would be a waste of time, then there's the ideal time apparently that's a personal thing for personal reasons.

I get what you're saying about a harvest window I could've harvested that plant 3/4 days ago and I could've left it for another 4/5 days most likely with an undetectable difference but the key thing being its ready + time.

You can also partial harvest ( mains ) , then push onward with mids and lowers …
