Urgent advice needed...

So one week into flower it’s been a long slog as had problems from the start.. So my urgent question is... Can someone give me advice on a plant that has or does look suspect like it’s a male but I’m not sure so here it or they are as the smaller versions are cuttings from the bigger plan. Thank you in advance ✌ :bigjoint::weed:A062BFBF-756C-4637-A72D-2C45160DF9DC.jpegD7404215-E082-4D1A-B195-C3ED83D23515.jpeg3DBE2FEA-2656-4633-91B6-08AD9ED25074.jpegDF340652-094D-410D-BB65-B64D8DBDAB2D.jpeg7A33F8C8-058A-41E1-9AC6-712A93293ADD.jpeg9840659A-6A2D-4CFD-B7E8-13FD9C990EEA.jpeg

its actually two plants one larger and the smaller cutting I thought they looked Weird :finger: so my next question is taking them out right now they shouldn’t of affected the rest of the plants? As in germinating.. Only ever had females and these I bought as seed (females) Barney farm.. thank you ✌

They look quite well on to my eye, I'd cover them with a bag cut them then bin them.

But I've not requirements for pollen.

No way really.. I just cut them out and bagged them tried cutting them low and pulling through the net as apposed to going over the top and slid the buckets out... thought as it’s the first week I’d have time to be fair they only changed yesterday night. But I missed taking photos and had to wait till today.. gutted to just loose plants but no requirements for seeds.. :finger:This is what’s left.. Don’t want any more surprises..lucky I was only doing this one run I’ve just germinated two MAC V2 so hopefully have something decent from that to carry on with.. ✌:weed::bigjoint:

As a general rule you should not veg till your plants are mature. If you wait till they are mature they will show what they are before flower. Also males tend to grow faster. And if you see bananas already it’s likely you are to late to avoid pollination. Bag em before you take em… gently. A mature plants nodes are staggered and a female will show a pair of pistils at the lobes while in veg.

The thing is they are or were well mature the thing is truth I didn’t look well enough I purchased all the seeds as females either from Barneys farm or queen seeds but all as feminised my bad for not noticing.. Again b4 I’ve only had cuttings so knew exactly what it was I was getting.. So much to learn obviously.. But again thanks as I do really appreciate the help..

What are you feeding and all that, those look really good.
thanks.. so I’m using Hesi products although I did buy the hydro but had so much problems with running Dutch buckets (ph levels) I’ve put it on the back burner so I’m still using the products I bought as to be fair I doubt there is too much difference..I’ve used Hesi on and off for 6-7 years.. I’m only running one light too I’m trying out a Optic Led 650s wicked for temperature control as stays cool as.. I also use their control box as not only can I control all three leds I can bring them in slower and not spike the power..The light is definitely great for a 5 x 5 EE974DFF-57DD-4A19-ACFA-20B7C2170F19.jpeg

This was just before I cut the males out.. :wall:
Water denatures pollen. As a Hail Mary when you remove a male bag him or spray him with water before clipping and bagging him out of your net. After he's gone spray all the females copiously with water. It will denature some, not all and you'll have less seeding but you'll probably still see quite a few seeds. Bonus is you'll have plenty of seeds for another run.

You can always toss a stem from your plants in a cup of water and flip the branches. Then you'll know who is male before you flip the plants themselves.

Best of luck

Thanks shame I didn’t wait another minute I almost ran to remove them.. only thing I did try to be careful but one was right in front of a fan.. so... I will now spray the life out of them and see what happens.. ive never really grown from seed relying on them being female my own fault entirely. I’ve just germinated 2 Capulator MAC V2 so I’m praying I’ve got a nice female as two didn’t germinate. Have 6 more so will wait till I see what I’ve got.. Will be checking this time :wall: thank you ✌
