venting two tents with one fan into one filter?

Hi guys,

Is this possible. I was planning on one of those big floorstanding filters,a fan sitting on top and a Y connecter straight on top, one for each tent. The left duct splits again into the veg and flower comparments of the Secret Jardin L120 (link) tent on the left. The space between the tents is about to scale in the picture below, about 3' between them.

Im starting to worry I'm getting a bit to clever for my owen good here. Should I just get two smaller setups , one or each tent? It might be easier to manage.

Also, any recommenation on fans/filters available in the eu is much appreciated.

Thanks

I'm new to this, but I believe you may need an in line filter with the example provided. I've got 2 air cooled lights in a separate closed system from the grow areas, and a filter sucking all air from the exhaust space to the outside.

1 tent has led, exhaust is to main room. Flower room is open area, exhausted via the filter and separate fan.

I have a small veg tent and use one of my passive intakes for my flower tent to vent it. There's enough negative pressure to keep things from smelling. Right now I'm using the veg tent to dry my last harvest.

The real problem is the difference in size of the tents and difference in lighting that is going to create different levels of heat. In a home HVAC system, they used tuned lines to equalize airflow. (Different size ducting of different lengths to maintain the proper flow throughout the home.)

By default, you're going to get more flow through the smaller tent. To account for that, you'll have to make it a closed system and tune it just like a home HVAC system, or you'll wind up with the smaller tent being OK and the larger tent probably baking.

Veg doesn't need a filter. Use 2 fans.
my house kinda stinks from veggins plants lol i guess nothing that really escapes the room though

you can use an inline fan/carbon scrubber in you flower box and cover up more of the normal ventilation on that tent. run a duct between the othet tent into the flower tent. the inline will pull it's fresh air through the duct from the veg tent. you may need a duct boostet fan between the veg and flower. 120+cfm pc fan might cut it though

Found a solution.I cut the arse off a bucket, dropped it in a 12" vent for an airtight fit,put box fan on bucket.

Thusly...
