Vigorous growth but ugly plants

Hi,

this ist my 4th or 5th grow with this aeroponics system.

i use ro water, 150-200ppm calmag, ghe trio and used some Heisenberg tea.

the plants grow very fast I check my tent in the morning and evening and I can see the growth
BUT the plants look very strange. Curvy leafs and the leafs look dry.

I calibrate my guardian every 2-3 weeks and double check the ph with another ph meter.

this is week 3

I can say it’s not the ph, it’s not humidity because I try to use the vpd chart.
I reduced the water level once the roots reach the bottom.

any advice ?
Thanks

I'd guess it's just the strain/pheno you have.
Had some plants like that a few years back, (bluberry X Mazar) once they were over a foot tall, all the new growth looked 'normal'.
I wouldn't worry about the rounded rather then 'saw blade' leafs.
Can't comment on the rest.

Looks like root problems (rot).. Do you run a sterile system? (chlorine/h2o2)
Bennies and roots smell fresh and no slime the brown patches are from the tea…root rot would stunt the growth but like I said they grow very fast and strong

I agree with this. Your plants look healthy enough that what you're seeing is likely just phenotype expression.

Heisenberg's uncertainty principle...that i've dealt with.
didnt know he had a tea.:blsmoke:quite the witches brew.
your adding bacteria, benificial or not.

I did grows with and without the tea and I can say with certainty that the roots love it and there is a difference in growth and no rot even with higher water temps

Just for the record, i'm new to DWC so was only commenting on the leaf shape.

but 78f water temp sounds a bit warm but I dunno about bio-hydro, im doing a 'sterile' non-bio grow.

I've read somewhere that large leafs are a good sign and its possible that there is a bit too much N but its a balancing act when you have different strains in one system and 360ppm at this stage its not high
