Any news on these? About to get Two XS2000's to replace 1000W HID in 5x5
Justintime2grow on youtube did a review on them and they look pretty good.

Two of the 2000s wont come to close to covering a 5x5 though. You will need at least 3 of them if you want to light the space properly.

Just received the XS2000. I ordered a $40 light meter which should be here later this week, hoping to play around and see if I can figure out how strong these are, I read there's a way to figure out PAR with it? I was happy with the Pro Series, but the XS does look nicer to me in the silver and it's 40 more watts it claims.

How’s this light so far if you don’t mind me asking? Looks pretty sweet.

Hmm, I was reading/seeing everywhere the XS2000 covers 3×3...why wouldn't 2 cover a 5×5?

I also believe that he only reviewed the XS1500 which barely pulls 150W and 700 Par. XS2000 Goes over 1100Par at 240W.

One could cover a 3x3 but still a little underpowered in my opinion.

If one covers a 3x3 thats 9 square feet so 2 would cover a 3x6 so 18 square feet. If you want to light the whole 25 square feet I would definitely use 3.

There's so many choices for this type of board. I don't like my money going to China but Alibaba seems to be the winner for these boards. I'm trying to hold out until Black Friday/Cyber Monday before upgrading.

Alibaba is a good choice on my opinion. I bought two 220 watt boards from there for €285 including shipping and they're doing great in veg so far.

I also have a 110 watt board I bought for €100 which is doing well in a 2x2.

Anybody with experience with Parfactworks? They have a new light on Amazon as well. HB1500. 150 watts, meanwell driver, Samsung, and some UV added also. Can’t find any decent reviews on it yet anywhere. Looks pretty decent also 139$

So glad to hear. I've been saving the links to everyone's choices. They seem to be holding up as time goes on. Prices are starting to go down in America and competition is increasing. Do you mind sharing your specific light?

It looks the same as the mars hydro light which has mixed reviews.

Mars only uses samsung and meanwell on their newer lights though.

I like how they look, slim and compact with no noisy fans. My goal is to bring the heat down and save money on electricity, being noiseless is a bonus. I may redo my exhaust system also. Seems to be a bit of a difference i'm seeing between the Pro Series and the XS, not sure what it amounts to.
