Vitals Second Grow - Jinx Proof Hunt!

Hey guys, starting up my second journal... this is my first pheno hunt. This run is entirely Jinx Proof genetics. My first run was also organic, but this time I am using super soil and no bottled nutrient feed. My logic was telling me to flower these out asap with as little training as possible to speed up the hunt. If I find keepers, I cut 2 clones of each plant before flip, and I plan to train the clones and do a proper grow with them if they earn a spot in my main tent.

We've got 9lb Hammer x6, Problem Child x6, PNW High (tester) x6 and 9lb Hammer x Dosidos (tester) x3

Media: Supersoil, 30% Peat, 20% Coco, 20% Perlite, 20% Coast of Maine Lobster Compost, 10% EWC (Roughly) + Grean Bicycles Ocean Forest (Cooked for 60 Days)
Supplements: Recharge, Incredible Bulk, Photosynthesis Plus, SLF100, Fish Shit and Mammoth P. (I am staggering microbes, I use a different one in each watering i.e. Recharge -> Photosynthesis Plus -> Mammoth P, so that the different types of microbes aren't competing as much.)
Additional Info: I will be using Happy Endings tea, also by Grean Bicycles, as needed. I will also be top dressing more Ocean Bounty as needed.
Lights: 2x Spider Farmer SF2000

They've been going for a while, just entered week 3 of flower, so here is a quick summary up to this point.

Germinated - 8.20.2020
Transplanted to 1 gallon - 9.9.2020
Transplanted to 3 gallon - 10.4.2020
Flipped to flower - 10.9.2020

Started with 21 seeds, 21 popped tails but only 18 broke soil. Had minor nute burn when they went into 1 gal pots, should have cut the soil, nothing major though. Plants took forever to show sex, finally removed the final males around 10.14-10.16. All in all I ended up with 6 females and 13 males! Ouch! The kicker? Just a couple days ago one of the females was showing her dirty balls, she must have had em tucked between her legs, but she couldn't hide them forever... damn herm! So, 5 females! What's most depressing, is the 9lb Hammer x Dosidos only had one break soil, I was excited for this... well she whispered in my ear that she was a female, was showing flowers forming in week 2, then all of a sudden dropped her balls! So, we are left with Problem Child #4, 9lb Hammer #1, Problem Child #5, 9lb Hammer #3, and PNW High #1.

Additionally, I kept a few of the males, 1 PC, 1 9# and 1 PNW High to collect some pollen from for experimental purposes. They've been in my sunroom for a few weeks and seem to be doing well. I kept what appeared to me to be the best combination of strength/structure, although it was kind of hard to tell so early on. Like I said, experimental. lol.

As you can see, I took a little too much off the 9lb Hammer #3 when I defoliated, she is definitely a little sad... everyone else is praising the VPD gods though. There is some minor light damage (I believe) on 9lb Hammer #1, you can see some leaf curling. She is the tallest for sure and is closest to the light, so makes sense. Gotta try and figure a way to raise the light a few more inches, if I can... Problem Child #5 is pretty short but man is she packing it on. Lots of nodes, good spacing. Not really quite sure what I am looking for at this point in selecting phenos. I am more or less interested in the terpene profiles and overall quality.

You can't really see them in this image, but I had too many clones off of my first run so I popped 2 in here to fill in some space. They're monstercropped clones of Punch Bowl and Blue Pops by Envy Genetics. They're still pretty mutated, but I just didn't have the room for them and would rather experiment than throw them out. My first run was of the same genetics and were also monstercropped, although I waited for 5 bladed fan leaves to come back before flipping. This should be interesting. Tons of nodes on them, I am expecting just one giant cola.

Noticing what I think is some heat/light stress on the 9lb Hammers, they're taller than the rest by a few inches or so. Cant get the lights any higher, they're maybe 8 inches above them... the rest are a solid 12 inches or more below the lights. I'm going to try rehanging the lights tomorrow, I think I can get a couple more inches if I redo the straps.

Anyone else want to chime in on what they think the curling leaves on the 9lb Hammers is from? I notice it ever so slightly on the PNW but it's at least a foot below the lights. Maybe it's a genetic thing? They all have 9lb Hammer in their lineage, I'm assuming as the father.

Good lord these things smell amazing. Like a honeydew melon creamsicle or something. Hint of mango or some sort of tropical fruit.

Noticing what I think may be a deficiency. This is my first time in supersoil and I may have let them go too long without food? Rather than top dressing I fed them some FOOP (organic bottled nutes), I'll keep a close eye on them. Leaves are lightening up from the bottom up, and can see what appears to be purple veins. 9lb Hammer is known to have some purple stems and such though... regardless, definitely noticing some yellowing.

Havent seen any fungus gnats for a few days, fingers crossed that they're gone and the beneficial nematodes/hypoasis miles did their jobs haha.



The Problem Child #5 (9lb Hammer x Tangie) has some crazy mutated leaves. Some have 11 blades! Check this out, there is some stigmas growing in the center!
