Writing from the turtles lair.

I'm only here to help other patients produce proper medicine. It saddens me it's not appreciated.

It seems it's much more important to have a fun user experience then helping people in pain get proper information to ease their suffering.

The most important thing from my viewpoint is to let the forum be an open source and plethora of useful information and knowledge, all to better people's quality of life.

Best to all and love all. Cheers!

Harvesting starts. I'm sorry I'm not able to post more updates during turtle mode.

I'm still alive for those who still cares. Hifi 4G in the picture, smells like strong lemony industrial ammonia cleaner. Very unique in her terp profile. Cheers!

The turtle just got his wings back! Lol! Some mishaps along the way.manage to put a 250w HPS bulb running at 400w for probably 4 weeks.

You can see a line in the canopy where the bulb was located. The bulb didn't blow though. Just put out a spectrum the plants didn't like. Currently running 2x600w HPS in the Aero tent.

Updated the system with a new stable Arduino board with the old DIP chips(Atmega 328P). They're proven and reliable. Installed industrial classified relays 5 times over system specs. 0.5 gallon ackumulator tank from old 0.1 gallon.

System is currently running with a deadband of 160-120 psi. No cycling and managed to get the pressure switch to work like I want it to. Sometimes it looses it's settings and go to 180 psi but I dialed the pass through to be at 160 psi at the pump side. Installed a bigger return pump from 1 gallons to 3, also more silent in operation.

Next run going in. Finally done building and installing the new root chambers. Gonna give them some foliar later today (TRIA, Brass, Kelp/Humic/amino). Mad Kush x Durban in mono. Hifi 4G going mono in the other tent next round. Cheers!

Hifi 4G DWC flower from the first run. Decent quality. Potency is there but I need to tinker a little bit with the ratios. Still dialing in the system and Jack's, been rinse repeat mentality with Dyna Gro forever. Doing some minor adjustments next run. The flowers in the Aero tent already look a lot better.

Hope everyone's doing great during all this. Cheers!

Beautiful work! Enjoyed the journals!
Thanks dude! I grow perpetually so it's an ongoing process. I'm sprouting some seeds, hope the old ones are still viable. Kali Mist, AK47 fems and Ms. Universe and G39 regs. Hope I'll get a killer Ms.Universe dad to pollinate with. Cheers!

@rkymtnman I just starting experimenting with Chitosan Oligosaccharide . Made some 4% solution. I'm going to run dosages recommended by "Beyond" from customhydronutrients. You also have SIPCO (manufacturer of hygrozyme, hyshield etc). Since my solution is 4% instead of hyshield 1% I need about 1ml per gallon if I go by their recommendations.

I'm going to follow directions from "Beyond", since my solution is about 16 times stronger than "Beyonds" 0.25% that's 0.315-0.937ml per 10 gallon solution. That means I'm starting out by adding about 2ml to my 31 gallon reservoir. Let's hope my calculations are somewhat correct. Let's see how this goes. Cheers!

that COS has lots of uses. i was looking at a few sites about its' use in agriculture. anti-viral and anti-fungal too.

keep us posted!

Tried some COS on a small patch. Starting initially at 50ppm. Also added some potassium sulfate (200ppm) and silicate(100ppm, mostly to raise pH a bit). I'll update on how they respond.

I believe 50ppm is way higher than what SIPCO recommends but I have a hard time seeing COS hurting anything below 100ppm.

IMG_20210505_134811323.jpgFoliar spray of 50ppm COS was a success. Here's my recovering girls. I kinda did all the errors in the book starting these girls out. Started by putting the timer on 6/18 instead of 18/6. I was away for a couple of days and when I came back and they'd started flowering.

Second error I did was forgetting to cover the tops of the chambers. Second time I've let the leaves sit on top of uncovered bare aluminum after foliar spray, that's a "no no!". If you never experienced aluminum toxicity it's not pleasant, plants make hydrogen sulfide to get rid of it, and for you who knows a little chemistry knows what's that smells like, juck! Had to raise chlorine to 2ppm for a couple of days. Well we've since fixed that and she's finally beginning to show her vigour.

Third error is she's on to hot sauce(0.8 EC, 400 ppm), same sauce as the flowering girls. But she's growing and is green. I will lower EC after I've harvested the girls and put the Hifi cuttings in the left tent. They've started to form nice roots in the cloner.

@Rurumo @Hobbes I've just put some Kali Mist, AK47 (fems) and Ms. Universe (regs) in the ground.

Hope to get a killer Ms. Universe dad to make some crosses with. Ms. Universe have Kali Mist in both here parents side. Very glad the Ms. Universe are still viable, they're from somewhere around 2012-2013. I believe I said was going to tag someone on here a couple of months back when I planted Kali Mist. Can't remember who that was though. Cheers!

Cuttings are doing well and will be more than ready in about 10 days when the get the ax. Flowering girls are currently 80 days in from flip. Made a hole on the cover of the control box.

Haven't really used it but now I'm able to see the ON light so I know the system is up. Harvesting pictures coming up!

Sprayed 0.075 ppm Brassinolide(24-epibrassinolide), 25ppm COS, aminos/kelp/humic, tween20/polysorbate20. You have to make a solution with tween20 before you use it. I think I had like 20ml of tween20 in 500ml of water. Just like when you make Triacontanol paste you need to boil the water with polysorbate to make it dissolve in water.
IMG_20210511_215103475_1.jpg
(They'd like 24/7 light. Just a few more days.)

Then I use 1 cap maybe 5 ml of that for 750ml of foliar solution. Nowadays I go by smell, it has a pretty pleasant odour. Reminds you of many Sodas, probably because it a very common additive in food and beverages. Cheers!
