Water with ingredients??

I have been looking all over town for a place to buy water. Most places have water for 25 cents a gallon. Not here the only bottled water I can find here is prebottled. It is 6.99 for a 5 gal jug and the first 1 was 14.99 with out an exchange. So I sucked it up and bought one, figuring I can fill it for 25 cents a gal in another town, F*ck this city.

I get it home and notice their is a ingredients label on it. I thought I was buying plain water.
The ingredients include:
Sodium Bicarbonate
Calcium Chloride
Magnesium Sulfate
Will these affect the amount of nutes I use or should I just feed as normal?

All comments appreciated.:peace:

Personally I'd just use tap water. And let the chlorine evaporate. You're gonna be buying a hell of a lot of water otherwise.

I agree with the above post, my first 2 grows I went out and bought distilled water a couple times a week and it started to add up and become a bitch. I switched to tap water this grow and have not noticed any difference at all.

As for those "ingredients", continue to use the same amount of nutes s you did before.

I thought it would be better to use my families well water. I visit them every weekend anyway. I mainly needed the jug. I have been using tap water that I had left out, but didn't like it. I've noticed a difference in the plants since I quit using it.

well water is the worst as it will probably be highly mineralized (hard) and cause a nutrient lockout. You might want to consider getting a reverse osmosis filter to get a pure source of water.

Thanks frmrboi!
He uses it on his (the well water) plants with no problems. That I know of. I don't have a ppm tester, any suggestions? Would that be a good check?

the fact that someone else is using safely is a good sign. Your only growing for a few months in the same soil so you should be OK. I wouldn't use it on a clone mother though.
