Hi. I have been using 7gms per cup and it makes really great brownies. One brownie = great buzz. Two brownies = equals tons of chuckles.
Betty Crocker mix takes 1/2 cup butter and puts out 70-80 (1-inch sq) brownies, depending on how much you ate before you counted em. So 1 full cup is 2 batches (boxes of mix) and that equals 150 -160 brownies and a good life.
Now I have actually contributed some of my experience, rather than using all of y'alls. :)

I actually havnt made herb infused oil or butter in years. I use feco (full extract concentrate) that i make.

I realize that wont work for everyone, but if you have access to decent concentrates (rosin/hash/rso/feco for diy types) at a good price its a lot less fuss and you dont lose that 20% or so when you straIn off the plant material.

I dont have feco but I do make tinctures and try to let a fair bit of the alcohol evaporate off...I find tinctures to be completely different buzz. I like them but doesn't get me as high as cannabutter

Holy shit hash edibles are a whole 'nother level of buzz. I made a batch of butter up with both flower and 10grams of hash or so and damn that batch was strictly for bedtime.

I know it's wasteful in terms of over-saturating the oils ability to absorb, but this was all bud that was going to get composted, we just had too much. Some was from well stored but older grows, other parts of it were in bags in the freezer that were cured and then frozen. It was mostly bud with some sugar shake. This batch is about 10oz of dry material, mixed with what I had on hand, about 12oz of coconut butter and 8oz of regular butter (I never tried mixing butter/oil before, but don't know why it would be an issue). That 20oz of oil netted me 16oz of budder, the rest was tossed with buds. I probably poured off more THC in the water (the next morning after the butter floated to the top) than most people smoke in a month, but I'm just glad I found a way to use some of it.

One "cube" added to brownie mix will make brownies strong enough that each normal 2"x2" square needs to be cut into quarters (or 8th or 16th, depending on what you're looking for and your tolerance), but I like it that way. They end out being about "gummy bear" size pieces, the brownie is just a cannabis delivery system, not a snack for me. The one time I used butter made this way in full strength -- using a full 1/4 cup of it as the brownie mix calls for -- I had to cut each 2x2 brownie into 32 pieces to get the right dose. Since cutting frozen brownies is not a perfect science, at that point small size variations in the pieces had notable impact. That was too much. Sometimes you don't find the limits until you cross them.

Just a matter of tolerance and potency. 3.5 g in a half cup makes about 70-80 very nice ~1 cubic inch brownies in 9x9 pan. One makes me nice, 2 kicks harder but nice. Maybe you (anyone else than I) needs 4 or 10 or...
Betty Crocker mix uses a half cup butter. I also don't use them for food. Just a way to take it in.

It is a matter of tolerance. I use 7 g in a half cup, 14 in a full cup. I adjust the amount of butter based on what potency I want the edibles to be. For example, I might use 1/4 cup of cannabutter and 1/4 cup regular butter if I want less potency. Or I might use 1/2 cup if I want more. But I find that it's easier to adjust by diluting with plain butter than it is to make it stronger.

250g I’d go 1oz if you want both strong and good tasting. I never use straight canna butter in recipes , I always use 1:1 canna/regular butter, I don’t want to taste green in my edibles.

I used 1 ounce of bud per 1 cup of coconut oil and once strained get 3/4 cup back which is used to make 150 gummie bears that are quite potent with 1 being a nice buzz and 2 being great for a movie on the couch lol. I find the balance a bit off lol. D97B90B9-54AE-4B49-89FB-0C3F2839D56A.jpeg
