Week 6 banners - hermie

Hi guys,
Boobies grower. Got some nice looking ladies that have done really well up till week 6 where I have noticed a couple bananas on one

Haven't had any real issues that could have caused stress. The only thing thatI have changed in the past week was replacing two of the 600w hps for two 600w LED

I did turn them right down to 60-70% so not to cause stress
I also introduced twox 40w far red LED to initiate sleep.

Do you guys thing the changes of light would have caused them or potentially bad genetics?

The seeds I got were from a local underground source that were originally mixed and I had to remove the males (but this happened early stages of vege

Thoughts please?

you just swapped 2 verry good lights for 2 crappy lights. 2 x 600 = 1200 watts for two 230 watt lights 2 x 250 = 500

I swapped two 600w hps for two 600w LED (equivalent to 1000w hps each)

But dialed back down the Wattage

If it is actual 600W of good diodes, then you did the right thing. I'm still curious how a much less spectrum of an HPS is supposed to be better than LED that covers much much much larger spectrum (que the HPS lovers attempt to come up with valid reasons and prove me wrong lmfao, never ending debate except LED gives larger spectrum with better efficacy, que more unscientific reasons). Wonder if this turns into a debate like so many others. If it grows good herb, go with it because guess what, it worked.

Yeah it's a 2021 kingbrite with full Samsung diodes, so it is good quality

I'm just worried that by changing them at week 5 of flower, if it's caused them to go hermie

That's my issue cause I've got bananas and I need to know if they are just bad genetics or if changing the lights have caused it

I think changing anything mid flower could do it, but genetics would have something to play in it as well. Some genetics can go through about anything as proven by my first grow, so take that for what it is. If you are looking for something that can take anything, you didn't find it
