I'm still playing GTA, Skyrim, and Witcher III. Anything after PS3 makes me nauseous with all the independent movement. Getting old is fun.
If you like those games, you should check out Hogwarts Legacy. I've been playing non-stop since it was released. The storytelling is like Witcher 3. The spell casting allows for similar mechanics like Breath of the Wild in puzzles and combat. The stealth missions remind me of the early Assassins Creed games. I wasn't expecting much honestly, but I've been pretty blown away so far.

I saw a video where one of the AI knights curb stomps another AI knight and the returns to post. Looks like a cool game.

Back playing Halo Infinite after their Season 3 update came out last week, and they finally seem to of fixed the fucking melee hits. You could hit some from behind and be nothing but a boop on their nose, and not an instant kill like past games. Few new maps and the big one is a shit ton of fun with Fiesta weaponry happening. Oh and I seem to play better after 2 bowls of Gorilla Zkittlez. . . just like my golf game. Seriously I didn’t have much because I was driving, but a vape session with it and I was driving the ball off the tee and kept it on the fairway. Almost opened up my back 9 with 4 pars in a row (damn wind on the 4th attempt)

Pinball machines are the best! F14 Tomcat during 5 ball multiball run is a drug experience. Altered mind/reality. The history of them is cool too. Pac-man is cool. You can eat special things that allow you to destroy the ghosts that haunt you. Neat.
I guess you're from the UK area? France had a special relationship with pinball. They imported a ton of machines. I can see how that might have filtered up. I have been able to play some of the oldest ones. Real simple layouts and no electronics. Then I have run into guys that got into refurbing machines. There is a big pinball gathering in TX every year. Lots of machines on display, for play, and for sale. Not enough reason to be in TX for my personal taste, but a pinball fan might want to give it a shot.

I've only been playing Baldur's Gate 3 since it's release (300 hours in), I'm very close to the end of the game and I can't wait to start again with a new character. I haven't felt this way about a game in over 20 years.
I had a tough time finding motivation to get into bg3. It is a great game as you say, but I got seriously burned out playing dos2 which is so similar they could've named bg3 dos3. Just recently have been getting more and more into it now.
