What is considered a late harvest in Southern Oregon?

I was wondering what month is considered a late harvest, end of october or november? I have a greenhouse so I can cover them with plastic when the rain comes. But I would like to keep the heating to a minimum. I plan to have the greenhouse open unless it rains but how low temps can the buds take with no rain? Do I have to cover with plastic every night towards the middle of October or beginning of November? I heard marijuana can take temps up to about 38? I would like them to be open direct sunlight as much as possible and prefer not put the plastic on unless of a storm or rain. Sometimes I heard Southern oregon gets lucky and doesn't get much rain till december or end of november. I would like alot of amber trichomes because I have bad insomnia. I don't want risk cutting too early and getting too much of a sativa high. I want something to really knock me out sleep mainly but dont mind a trippy mind heavy sedative type either! As long makes me sleep hard I don't care if its mind fucker too!

I'm on Central Oregon coast. Last year I had a 6" clone given to me in August. Mid October, while trying to get a few more weeks of flower out of it, I had to bring it in from the porch every night & on rainy days. The temperatures at night combined with the fog off the coast was too much for it. I was also fighting off powder mildew constantly! Id get your Grn. House set up by the first week in October just in case. Also a plug-in radiant oil heater is a great way to stay off cold night temps. Put it on the lowest setting with a small circulation fan. Because we have mild Winters this works great & won't sky rocket your electric bill.

I don't live on the coast I live in Cave Junction pretty much right on the border of CA. It's considered a valley at least they call it Illinois valley. It's very dry here in the summer. Too dry actually that it causes more fires. Last year it didn't rain till end of October I believe but the locals said that doesn't usually happen. But I believe rain started hitting in November. Are you ever able to get about 50% amber trichromes on Indica dominant plants, where you live? I used live in San Diego when I was teenager and my early 20's in the mid 2000s. I guess i'm very picky about bud cause I was bit spoiled there. I'm thinking it might be because you could flower alot longer there because they don't get much of any rain till January or later. I used actually hate this when I lived there. i actually like rain and some change and love the wet rainy winters here in Oregon.

I just remember inspecting the buds and seeing alot of amber and milky. I rarely ever saw clear trichromes like I do here in Oregon. i guess just havent met the right growers that do it right. I just can't sleep on the dispensary weed here at least not like used to in cali. Even the 9 pound hammer that my neighbor grows was cut too eartly, its slightly sleepy but is very weak. i never get in a deep relaxing sleep like I used to on the Indicas in Cali. My insomnia, anxiety, and overthinking I need something very strong like Kosher Kush, herijuana, afghan kush, purple kush, etc to stop it. That's why I'm going psycho this year in growing myself basically just finally get a good deep relaxing sleep after year worth of hell!

I actually finally after a year found a good farm that actually hand trimmed, organic, and long flowering. But my stupid dispensary won't buy more from them. I can't find anyone that has any more Sofresh farms Kosher Kush. So I'm stuck being zombie till harvest again. They want get rid all their crappy early cut buds. I do like mind fuck strains too as long as it also has a strong body couch lock stone too. I believe some sativa good because i need also have something distract my overthinking.
