What is Going on With These Roots?

I have 6 seedlings that germinated a few days ago and have been doing fine recently but today I noticed something strange in their previously snow-white roots... Some have developed a weird thinning at the tip and turned color, as if they were drying out... but the rockwool is always moist, the rh is around 60 and they almost always (though sometimes not) have excess water in dome which they reached by roots and drank. I don't think this is root rot, but of course I'm a little worried about that as well... Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on?

They seem to be doing fine otherwise, as you can see...

Why are they still out in the open like that

How are they to be planted/grown

Roots don't like light and plain air
They'll be going to rdwc but I was waiting for their second set of true leaves... do you think that'll be too much of a wait? I don't want hydrotons crushing those thin stems.

the roots are developing and expanding and trying to find moisture. you're just disturbing its process by exposing it like that.

What do you mean? By checking on them like this or not going into dwc right away?
