They are like the size as a fly they lay silk webbing on stalks, change somewhat of a hue of color when hiding from either brown to greenish and they are aware of you while trying to catch them they move slowly to the opposite side of a branch blocking your view. I can’t figure out if he is just using the plant as cover or if he is a pest helpppp lmao

That looks like some kind of crazy spider mite or something dangerous like it sucks blood.

I have no clue what that is. I will pray for you
Bro i thought the same lmao it’s weird tho you only find them on stalks never a leaf so I’m assuming they are just a annoyance cause they add work to have to clean off the silky substance. I was thinking mealy bug but it def not I might go see the botany professor tom.

They are on the stalks, no leaves and they leave a fine silk webbing? My main question is how is the overall plant health?

I don't like this pic but maybe I was close and it's a Parasitic Mite

Booomm got it solved. It’s a cicada nymph. I forgot to mention honey dew I got neck problems so I medicate a lot in the grow room while working and totally slipped my mind to mention the dew (took pic like 3am last night)

I recently learned Cicadas only come out once every 17 years on perfect temps...
and then they go back underground only to emerge again 17 years later...

So this thing here that looks like Satan's buttered Carmel popcorn with legs is the size of your pinky???

Kinda crazy that's a Cicada nypmh .. What's with the webbing?

This is the best pic I could find of the alleged Cicada Nymph. I see some similarities but I don't think I am 100% sold.

I am bummed I am not in a region that experiences the phenomenon. Some friends captured crazy videos though.

Cicadas flying into cars all that. Cool stuff..

That’s the thing about bugs they like stains thousands of sub species I’m pretty sure like 90% it is by the stupid ass fly eyes. Also I think the news sucks at reporting and one sub species comes out every 17 years I saw this same species last year same time and it shits honey dew like google says it does. We always have cicada in th Midwest they scream all summer long lol
