What LED is the best value in terms of cost/yield/service life?

I do 2 x480W drivers (550W) with 10 x 288diode strips for that money ($1000)... just saying. I'm not trading internationally yet.

So, why would a person wanting a warranty & a good nights sleep mess himself up with that?
I hear you if thats your thang but sounds out of context like all DIY recommendations on Prebuilt Fixture seeking threads.
What do you consider your time worth?
I personally cannot afford to pay myself & would far exceed the cost of a Bar-8 just to come up with something messy in comparison.

Because I use drivers with 7-year warranty...

I'm making several times the amount my pension pays a month now... and just visited an engineering company yesterday to take over some functions.
Get to spend most days around the home workshop, walk my daughter to and from school... I'm the guy who has everything, I'm trying to share my lights more than making money. Making some awesome friends on the way.

Cant beat getting paid to do wat you like from home.
You've seen My Horizons right?
Someone needs to make them for sale. Best 1st mo of veg lights & sidelights ive experienced.

Hey, sorry to just jump in on the post. I've been reading through the pages looking for links to find decent led parts to make some lights, but can't seem to find any?
Ok so here's what happened today: I decided it would be a good idea to make some DIY LED grow lights. I looked online and found some driverless 50w full spectrum COB LED's. I saw how cheap they are at $2.50 each and bought 10 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32982350492.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.1f684c4d5Cur4E , then I bought 5 heat sinks with cooling fans attached https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32909598627.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.1f684c4d5Cur4E , then I did a bit more research on youtube and on rollitup and found that lots of people are saying these cheap chinese 50w COB's are no good. I'm not to bothered about the $25 spent on COB's but the fans were like $20 each. Sooooo what I want to know is; is there a better LED COB I can buy that I can glue to the 5 heat sink fans that will be arriving in the post? Where can I find the LED COB parts that they use for the $1600 grow lights that I don't have the money to buy??..

If youre in the US why not try with @CobKits ? He sells a range of cobs and you would also need a powersupply as none of the decent cobs are driverless.

HLG Elite 360, in my opinion. 360 true LED watts for $350. Can't assemble one for much cheaper. Perfect for a 2x4. Get 2 for a 4x4.

i don't know where you live, if you can do business with DIGIKEY....fuck everyone else....they have the top quality parts, at good prices, and are an established, trusted company. if you have a problem, they'll try to fix it, not redirect you to a Portuguese third party rep who will take your information then line their canaries cage with the form...and they'll have pages of suitable cobs to use as replacements for the chinese paper weights you just got
