I'm curious to see what lights you guys like to run for your veg rooms. I'm looking to make my setup perpetual and will need veg lights. I'm in the air between t5s or LEDs so figured id see what your guys like to use!

led, about half the power as bloom seems about right. t5 is pretty inefficient..

What led fixtures you guys use?
Running a Chilled X3 on the veg side. Works great for my setup.

I have both Mars hydro and bloom plus led’s
I like both- the bloom plus was cheaper and I think the quality is a bit better but both are working fine. 4 units 300w each plus some full spectrum burples to add some reds and blue uv. i don’t have the height in my grow room to go higher than 300w. Results have been good.

Perpetual to what degree? Mothers and clones under t5(If you just want them to be healthy). Veg under 315cmh using 4K philips( The hortilux is a good bulb but the internal space is shorter with the phillips 4k if you grow sativa, indica you might want the hortilux since it lets them grow up nicely and added UV). I have looked at LED for veg and I am not convinced as of yet. I fully flower under Hortilux LED ES and HLG diablo(older ones without the blue). I am fully a fan of the Hortilux ES worth every penny. Reduced operating cost by 50%. That includes reduction in cooling cost. You can set temps to 78º and you are good but with HID A/C was set at 70º. This is for my set up only closed flower room, open veg area/clone. Good luck.

Super fruity, purple pheno. Not very potent though unfortunately. I much prefer the #1 stunna over the rozay
Probably do 1 more run of her then get rid of it from the stable

sadly the fruity ones tend to be that way. How many watts are those strip lights ? I would guess they run cool, do you dim them?

I like T5s regardless of their inefficiency they create nice growth and give off some heat which I need most of the year.
As it happens I changed from t5 to led only last week, to equal intensity of 96w of t5 I need 35w of led that said the temps are barely above ambient at 21/22c.
If I bought another pure veg light it would be 6k, 4k lacks that kick ass blue.
I should make my definition of a veg room clear
It keeps a perpetual grow going for peanuts.
