Having issues with light penetration getting into my rez's all of a sudden like the rez got old.. What type of rez's do you use so light penetration can't get in? Looking for 10-12 gallon rez's.

I would say use the h0m3 d3pot husky brand totes, but they switched the color of the lids from black to non light proof red recently.

Seems you would have to paint or cover it anyway, I say go with the yellow top commander totes from l0w3s. Then, if you upgrade your containers, get the matching commander 5 gallon square buckets. They are pretty nice for RDWC systems.

I like these the best, if you don't mind the newer red lids. I do, and glad i got some a few years ago.

And the whole commander line:

@Drop That Sound did you see what I was using in my link? They worked for a couple of years at least and I got new ones last week and they must not make them as good, bc light was getting in.

Seems most people end up with the black totes with yellow lids as pictured above. But what ever is the thickest darkest and easiest to get fittings attached to.

I used nothing but Rubbermaid tubs for almost 20 years. Just separate plants for DWC not RDWC. Never put foil or anything on the lids and up to 12 netpots in a single lid with no light leak problems. The short tubs hold 35L at an inch under 5" netpots and the taller ones hold 50L. The lids are the same for both so I'd often veg in a short tub then switch to a tall one for flowering.

:peace:
