What way does your P.H. move

A truly balanced and stable organic should be consistently within 0.04 fluctuation. And if your reservoir is fluctuating you have problems. Should remain stable for at least a week. Badger @DoubleAtotheRON for hydro info.

Peace.
I tried to send him. Late. Beyond tired. Almost enough hash to sleep and still giving a what the heh!

Hope you are well. Been better but I'm getting better by the hour and my season is healthier than I. LMAO.

Peace and wishes of security.

Only to maintain my input PH. And only phosphoric acid. My soil mix is a consistent 6.6- 6-8. Needs some down in veg. perfect for bloom. But custom mix. Takes a grow or 12. LOL.
That's fine am just checking the trends seems that most peeps would be using PH down rather than up

Up, ro water trying to return to 7 from 5.8,
rises .75 -.1 pt a day with a bubbler in the bucket
Honestly. Clean your nozzles if hydro. Or just forget R/O or distilled. Just supporting more money to shysters you don't have to spend. REALLY?

My apologies. But would your puddle not be more stable with the addition of dissolved minerals and sterilization of chlorine? Only way my peppers grow in fill and forget buckets.

ro water? idk, my tapwater is full of white crud and high ph, 7 or more. I tried using it and had all kinds of odd problems, ro is unhandy, but things look way better with it.

It's just my little bucket of mixed nutes btw, I feed out of it. I have an airstone in it as well. My ro comes out of the tap at 6ph, but slowly climbs back to 7 if just left to sit out doing nothing to it.

I'm in Mega Crop 2 Part with Sweet Candy in RO water, running drain to waste in coco/perlite. My 5 gal res ph drifts up about 0.05 each day. Drift is much more within 24hrs of mixing but it stabilizes soon after for me

PH tends to fluctuate
Which way does yours move and by how many points daily
Depends because in hydro you can get fluctuation if you haven’t found the plants sweet spot where water and nutrients are used in equal quantities.

when this happens you get no change in ppm and no change in pH.

if you feed too strong your nutrients return back even stronger and the pH drops due to more accumulated salts in your reservoir.

if you feed to weak your nutrients returns back weaker and pH increases due to less nutrients in the water.

if your pH returns and is within 5.5-6.2 then you don’t want to adjust anything other Then a top up etc.

this is about hydro.

you try to find the equilibrium where nutes and water are used at equal rates but this equilibrium is constantly changing so you find you may need to adjust every day or 2 until you find it.

I ph down then add armor Si, that brings it to 6ish. Then I add dynagro FP and I'm done. Should be 5.7-6. I mix 10L at a time, so small amounts swing faster I think.
I did try letting it go and it just wants to eventually climb close to 7. I mean just sitting, stored in a bucket a few days, with an air pump. It's great for my soil plants. A tiny amount of ph down usually sends it crashing back down.
