Best way of avoiding that is to keep the temperature even between light and dark for the first 2-3 weeks of flower and to provide your plants with sufficient light. If there is a big temp switch between light and dark the plant panics and stretches. also try bud ignitor from Advance nutrients. That shit is the bomb, a totally natural pgr that will have nodes popping everywhere
