When to top plant?

looks over watered to me...leaf cupping/twisting classic sign of overwater. Give em a break and throw a fan on em!

Wow, does that soil you have there drain? Add some perlite next time for added drainage and promote easy root growth.

i do see a little perlite...I use 1/3 perlite.

honestly i wouldnt top untill you get that whole thing back on track , lowkey looks kinda fried and topping it might be what sets it on its death course, and yeah they are extreme resilient plants bla bla bla but people forget only if theyre extremely healthy. i snapped mine the other day thinking it was done but because my girl was so healthy i swear the break didnt even phase her. even branches i super cropped and she responded less than an hour raising right back up to the un on a snapped branch hanging on my a couple strings no wilting no signs of stress.

Its been about 10 weeks in total, had bad transplant shock when my dog ripped plant out of ground. Its been like 3 weeks since.
Wow, missed this! Surprised they are still alive! Less watering....all pics show over watering. If you don't have a fan get one. Also, make sure you have fresh air flow. These pics are 9 weeks old from seed. Veg 30 days at 24hr light and actually 4 1/2 weeks of flower at 12/12 so not even 9 weeks old from seed. It's easy as a first time grower to do too much! Less sometimes is better. Let the plant do it's thing and it will. Try and help it or push it too much and throws it all off. I can see by the brown on lower leaves (name for it can't remember) but is basically root rot. You are half a step a way from losing your 10 weeks. Stop watering NOW! Get a fan! I live in desert and depending upon humidity I have too wait to water. Lift the pot to feel weight and when lighter then water. Dig finger down away from plant and feel if soil moist. If too moist then plant uses up oxygen and roots begin to die and rot so DON'T WATER!

that can’t be root rot, that’s from when the plant had transplant shock and the leaves died it took a branch w it aswell and a few leaves.

Sorry just trying t help. Looks a little like this photo but ya if dog pulled up hard to say.

Not sure of your humidity there but I certainly would wait at least 3 or 4 days before watering again.

If any other leaves start to dry brown and crispy (starting at the tips) then you will know it's root rot.

Yeah will wait before I water again. When my dog ripped it out I had just watered the plant it used to be an out door plant then after watering i went inside to grab something I come back out freaking out because I thought my plant was stolen at first lmao but I found it out was ripped out of ground laying to the side of the plant. I put it back into the soil immediately was out of soil for max of 10 min had all the roots torn basically. I put it into a solo cup the. next day. Just transplanted out of the solo cup 3-4 days ago had soooo much roots inside it was everywhere.

Wow, that baby is a survivor! Of course the down side to extreme stress is a hermie! So watch for that. Some strains doesn't take much stress to throw em hermie! Been smoking since 1973 and have had more than one friend lose a dog to eating pot so be careful with that. Does take a lot to kill em but it will! And you lose your stash...dogs love weed! Sorry so long winded but the White Widow is marvelous this morning and I'm an old man...lol!

Best of luck with your grow...I think you have the knack for growing (many couldn't have done what you already did) so if by chance this doesn't work this round just start again and I know you can do it. I'll be looking in for updates in the weeks to come.

Thanks! I have an exhaust fan running w it rn. Temps during night have been around 74-78 day time around 77-83 harder to control in the day time as I have to work a lot and the house temp affects alot

Ya I agree, I only looked at the first few pics and not that close. I would just leave them be. No reason to top.

Works well in any medium where the plant is stressed
Ya I’ve never seen any difference when using it but I’ve only tried on a couple of runs in a flooded setup. I’m skeptical that it works in soil though, pretty much already there in abundance.

The reason I mentioned a fan is that it aids in transpiration and when the plant loses water it takes more up through roots speeding up the process of getting back to normal. Also, a fan will strengthen and enlarge stem and larger stems transport more nutrients making bigger buds. I use fan in veg cabinet on seedlings and more powerful fan on timer in flower closet. Also, temps in the 80-85 range speed up transpiration and growth. Temps in the 70's slow growth.

I'm thinking about bending the stem 90° to make it grow those nodes to grow into colas. Should I?
