If you were given the choice of any Led strips on the market to build some lights for flowering, which strips would you buy?

Sammys
sol strips
photoboost
bxeb gen 3s

Something i haven't mentioned?

I love my jseries from cutter and will continue to use them in one room, i want to use the best available for the new builds/room

Cheers growers

price isnt an issue for this lot. I dont mind paying $$ for the best tech, if its worth the extra cost. If strips are comparable, ill usually take the cheaper option but if the best are that much better, ill just spend the $$ upfront and be done with it.

2`/2.5`x16 canopy x 2

next room im gonna aisle it, have a walkway down the center of 2 aisles

I was considerig Prawns boards strongly, they are great, but i just love strips and think id prefer sticking with them.

You might wanna check with Teknik, hes got something coming up. Saw the spectrum and it was very sexy.
Oh really? ill toss him a message, see what hes got up his sleeve.

Ive spent the last 10 minutes reading up on the Sol strips from Cutter. They seem to be nice.

Hopefully ill have some come end of jan. Ive seen gen1 and it looked markedly better than 3000k80cri sammies, even with a little less wattage per square foot.

Go with 3000k tried and tested and work perfectly. If you want more spectrum I think its better to add them separate. All white on a strip is more efficient than mixed spectrums as far as im aware, could be completely wrong.

I know im about to add another 20 strips of Samsung influx l09 series to my cab for running super efficient and my spaces is tight as im sure your aware.

Ya my j series are all 3000k 90cri and 80 cri mix and ive been very happy with the results. They are on the cheaper side but preform well.

@diggs99 I have done a few runs with hlg 660 strips in the cab and to be honest an extra couple of white shit on them. I didn't even bother running the reds this time they are back in their box. But they may well go back in there when I redesign the layouts for the lighting. Planing on having strips on the back wall of the cab hung vertical, side walls hung horiztonal, roof length wise of the cab and a few vertical on the two doors. Will be complete early January. Im going to have to get a par meter to get it all dialled in correct but set once and forget.

forgot to say I think with the strips in my cab the extra spacing etc gives a better airflow with just the extraction running and passive intakes. Where as the heat sinks on the hlg boards and copies etc just didn't play well in that respect. They all work and work well depending on the situation.

Any other opinions on what would be considered the best strips on the market?

I've looked at sol strips and plc photoboost, someone mentioned HLG sells strips now?

What's the newest sammies testing like? Are the influx that much better than the f series?

Cutter has a few different higher end options it seems

ya he was banned from riu but hes still around

You got any preference to any of the newest strips AW?
Cutter can do custom boards so they are realistically the best option. If you sent the time to find out exactly what wattage would be needed for the highest lumen per watt available, and built your strips from that and ran them to hit that, that would technically be the best available.
