Which Ones Would You Choose?

About 4 years ago, after 20+ years of IBL'ing, I reverse engineered Sensi's Northern Lights back go it original constituents, a Type I Sativa (Hawaiian/Thai), a Type II Indica (stinky Afghani) and a Type IV Hybrid. See here:

Geezer Reverse Engineers NL

In the interim, I've not only isolated and can reproduce the Type I and Type II phenos (Type IV with NL has always been _so_ easily reproducible), but I've backcrossed them into themselves!! Haven't standardized/homogenized them yet (does anyone do this anymore?) but have a solid foundation to work from.

So, I've already made up my mind which parental units to use for my next project but, based solely on the pics provided, which plants would _you_ use? From L>R, 1-4, which staminate would you use?;

Now for the pistillates, L>R, 1-3:

And since this forum is filled with so many cannabis _experts__, which plants would you use, and more importantly, _why_ would you choose them?

Crossing the sativa with itself, just because I like sativas and Hawaiian strains.

I dont see alot of this really . Alot of these new "breeders" are basically throwing out f1's and f2's now days.. or S1's /s1's ..
Not to many people by true breeding lineages of crosses ..
But far as the choices you have giving i like #3 and #1. #3 because of its producting posibilites,, nice lateral branching and #1 because i like the sativa high .. the #1 also shows good production value. Wish i could get an over all, Like a terpine profile or the vigur of each plant.. the little things you know?

I like number 3 for no other reason than shape. Didn't read anyone else's answer. They all look nice! Second pic is number 2 because it has a perkiness look. But shape again is my sourve.

Five or six years ago when I first noticed the occasional Type II/Indica, I would have chosen 4 from the staminates and 3 from the pistallates, because I prefer that type of high. Since I've been able to isolate the Type I and Type II phenos the last several years, I've been experimenting with combos of just those two. If you look closely at number 1 of the pistallates, which on first appearance looks pretty Type I/ Sativa dominate, you'll notice the leaves are quite atypical. They're rather wide. It's an F2 from my first cross of the two isolated cannabis types. As much as I love the shape and structure of it, for my indoor tent/closet environments, it's just not going to work out.

I'm using 3 and 2 for the next grow, as I'm trying to standardize the structure and provide reproducibility in seeded grows. But I've got the pollen from all the staminates stored safely away in the freezer for future use. :cool:
