White Moth Caterpillars and twisting growth

Hey guys!

It’s outdoor season here in the north and my plants have been in veg since about April 27th. Started then indoor under a t5 moved them out about may 24th.

Recently I been seeing bite marks on the leaves that look like catipillar. Also I seen some dead leaves aswell looks like they chewed through a few fan leaf stems.

So I sprayed “safers” BT spray a few days ago. Hoping that will help, just used a regular spray bottle . Been noticing my new /old growth twisting at the newest growth. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Seem to be having a lot of trouble here.

Weather has been sunny with 28+ Degrees C. Plants are in 25 gal pots getting fed GH flora trio, rapid start and floralicious +.

Strain is x3 - critical + 2.0 (dinafem) and one northern lights.

Thankyou for the help in advance!

I don't think that's caterpillar damage. I have some of the same damage on one of my plants, and I've been checking for caterpillars since I'll have to remove them by hand if they're there. Have you actually seen anything munching on the leaves there?
Another guy on here suggested a fungus might be responsible for similar damage on another guy's plants. That guy also had leafhoppers, as do I, and they transmit fungi and diseases.
Did you spray during the day?

Yee I did spray during the day I fucked that up lol

Yea I caught them eating the leaves! They are hard to spot but I even caught one that was mature enough to eat a fan leaf stem in action!

Dude ur growing bakerstreet by tweed?! I just finished a run of those (indoor)! That strain is bred by complete doorknobs it’s not worth the hype. Good high but yeild is iffy . Be careful man they are a very picky cultivar during flower.

Got mine outdoors, in the ground. Hope it'll do better there. She's over five and a half feet tall, and I topped her to have 8 main stems, and two of the side branches have caught up, so that makes 10. Should improve the yield. It's supposed to be a landrace, Hindu Kush, I don't know how it'll do with the humidity here in Southern Ontario. I'm going to be using potassium bicarbonate as a preventative for bud rot.
Do you have any pics of the caterpillar? I'll be taking another look today. I know there aren't any caterpillars on the Cherry Bomb, she only had the one damaged leaf and that was more than a month ago now.

By iffy yeild I meant the buds are fluffier then other strains after they dry! I had a northernlights that vegged for half the time as my Bakerstreet and put on the same weight just cause of density alone! At 5+ feet u should get a shit ton anyway tho! Lol

I remeber one of my bakerstreet had wholes in the leaves and no explanation! Tbh I thought the reflector fell on it as it was only a few nodes but maybe the problem is just genetics?

I’ll try to find another catipillar tn and take a pic! They are tan colour
