White Widow Auto Day 103 - significant foxtailing, possible herming, can I harvest now or wait?

White Widow Auto - Dutch Passion. First grow, lots of mistakes, it's been a ride. Peat mix, Jack's Classic fertilizer, Spider Farmer sf1000 Light.

The plant is foxtailing, and taking FOREVER. I am on day 102 since sprout. I am just starting to see the occasional amber trichome, but also some clear ones, especially on the new foxtail growth. I lost a cola to bud rot a week ago, but I was able (so far) save the rest of the plant.

Are these male? I picked off as many as I could find, but I am not confident I didn't miss any. Does this look ready to harvest? I keep seeing posts about people harvesting too early, and I don't want to do that, but on the other hand, I want to get this plant chopped as soon as is practical to avoid any further issues.
Thanks so much!

There's nothing male about that plant. They are obviously pre flower calyx that have swollen. Your just picking off female flowers from the main nodes and stressing over nothing. If they have stigma coming out of them, they are female pistillate flowers.

You still have a decent amount of white stigma, let it go for a while and you will be gold...good effort first time round. The swell will be worth it. There's nothing wrong with a foxtail, it's still smokable bud, and yours isn't significant yet anyway. This and worse is what I would consider significant.

If you are still a bit apprehensive, a google search of "marijuana anatomy" will clear everything up. Notice the lack of stigma coming from male sacs.

The female pre flowers are the first to swell and retract stigma so it's pretty common for newer growers to assume they have male anatomy.

100 days since sprout and I can't smoke it yet!!! Wtf!!! Haha. Just messing. My autos went over 120 days. Some 140.

Your plant looks decent. That is baby foxtail if anything. Still got more to fatten up

Two of my last auto's went 122 days with some foxtailing.

I decided to harvest when all of the pistils on the "normal" parts of the buds had changed color and receded !

Give it a bit more time, eh ?

Cheers
