Whorled phyllotaxy: stash or trash?

You cannot absolutely say a plant mutation is caused by dirty tools or the breeder directly.
Agreed, I never said anything like that. Your statement however that mutations are a result of too many or too few chromosomes is just as wrong. Besides additional chromosomes either in the set orcompletely additionally sets being very rare, it”s in no way a prerequisite for mutations and it shows a lack of basic understanding of chromosomes vs genes (vs ”random group of plant cells”).

I got one recently by crossing crossing green crack and i95. It ended up growing out into clone structure in veg after a few nodes which was interesting. The whirling triple growth looked a little off after the seedling stage. After the third node boom, clone structure. Not sure how the bud will turn out.

The clone structure you speak of is called alternating nodes and its normally a good sign for drug types. Few of my i95s get it

Alternating nodes is just what happens during plant maturity.

usually even nodes during veg.

Veg for long enough you get alternating nodes.

Then pre flowers during veg.

No not all plants alternate if you veg long enough, its genetics first. I've had loads of plants non-alternate even after full stretch in flower.
his plant is a few inches and its already alternating you just said "usually even nodes during veg"... ive had strains that had alternating in veg and non alternating the ones that alternate early way before flower are the ones to watch it's also passed down through genetics this is my findings.... 16 years of it.
You comment on my reply like you know more than me? or somehow my info is wrong and your findings are the truth lol its too funny..

Go grow chems and see them alternate in early veg and not like you said "if you veg long enough"

You're stating the obvious facts about a mature plant here while the plant in question is tiny. Its a contradiction in itself.

And you’ve just been triggered by me not even bashing you.

I simply stated a fact that is known.

what’s the matter did you get butt hurt somewhere by someone else and thought you’d take it out on me?

The last thing I read from your posts was to starve a plant until it “triggers” it’s going to die and then use straight water for 2 weeks and leave it in the dark for 2 days. :wall:

all u did was seen my quote and tried to get smart to belittle me... you offered nothing but already known info about cannabis then i schooled you about genetics now its oh i triggered you.. you didn't trigger shit you talked crap then i put you in your place..you directly came and commented on my shit without trying to actually help anybody... known it all, yet you no nothing about cannabis it seems.

ah another person who puts words into your mouth you must be one of those 80% vets that talk for each other but in reality about 3 years of growing... and makes it up as they go... show me were i said ****starve the plant*** dopey? or do u love making stuff up you know nothing about? i told him to let his "soil dry out" a regular thing i do in cannabis of 16 years .. that's a signal to any mature plant its time to finish up this is literally common knowledge in growing any type of fruit... do you know how ethylene works on cannabis? how about ethephon?? no??? do you know how the cannabis plant stores these and then converts them for later use you have literally no clue what im talking about cause you never learned it you just try to sound smart by stating the obvious at people with actual real exp.
Do u know what happens in harvest season when a plant dries up from no rain at the end of its cycle? do you know how ethylene is stored in cannabis which released stored sugars to the plant for final consumption before it gets cut down.. do you know any this or is that "just what happens during plant maturity are you giving out wrong info and lies and stuff you know 0 clue about? haha fucking noobs with nothing good to add and you try to look smart on the forum and i schooled you, i would slap you 10ways till sunday to if you tried to punk me face to face.

God I hope you live in the U.K. to make good your slap comment.

I live in wales. Dm me we can hook something up.

and no not 3 years growing. 12 years all documented for others to see on this site.

I wasn’t belittling anyone other than stating alternating nodes happen as Part of maturity.

I do not claim to be a VET just a grower who’s learned a fair amount over the years.

do I know everything of course not.

I humbly bow down to your 4 years more knowledge lol.

There is a close up of one I have running right now. Its for sure bushier than her siblings. So far she seems to be really sensitive to watering-the slightest overwatering she wilts.
