Why Are My Plants so Short?

6x Dr. Krippling's Incredible Bulk growing in 4x8 Grow Tent, RDWC setup.

2x King Plus 1500W LED Grow Lights at 30 inches.
Humidity: 50-70%
Temperature: 72-82f

36 days from sprout.

First had a Nitrogen deficiency, then some nute burn while trying to adjust. The lower lighter-colored leaves due to def, and the burns are obvious...... Ok that stunted a bit I guess but the burn is only recent and N def didn't last very long, and these girls always seemed to be a bit short with the internode spacing.

Each node is like 3/4 inches apart...
I topped 4 of them around 10 days ago.

I was planning to LST and scrog them, and I WILL scrog them eventually, but with this growth am I going to veg these for 3 months?!

And this one didn't recover well from the deficiency, she is growing veeeery slowly and I doubt that the nutes required by the other girls will keep this one alive without burn:

I am using Sensi Grow A&B, Voodoo Juice and B-52.

Read somewhere that B-52 is known to sometimes cause tight internode spacings. Shall I maybe try going a bit low on B-52 in the next res change?

Watts are based on draw at wall, not what the manuf claims

They each pull 260w at the wallno way 2 16"x9" lights can cover that space

It's literally impossible unless they are like 6' in the air, then they have hardly any value at all as far as PAR

oh... yeah I’m unfortunately aware that these are not the ideal powered stuff but it’s hard to say “no way it’ll work” cuz I got this tent and lights from a friend, used, and he somehow had managed to fit 8 plants there which all turned out huge but later he fucked up due to ph problems and sold the stuff. I don’t think lights are the reason of these short girls...

Wouldn't they stretch more if it was lack of light ? Idk man maybe some hydro experts can tell you what's up.
exactly what I was thinking. So I raised the lights to about 30’ from 24 and was using only the veg switch as I’ve read that switching bloom on might cause bushy plants during veg but just recently I switched the bloom on as well, as they were already going bushy. Now I’m actually considering even lowering the lights, for a change...

They're actually only 260W each.
The manufactures claims are based on the cumulative total of each led on the board, so while an honest claim, not accurate in output. You can have 5000w of led but still only draws 100 watts from the wall. With patience, training, and some luck, I've done pretty well with 200w harvests. You'll probably see her in a lot of other posts, I've been bragging a bit. My best so far.
Also, your close internodal distance says for now your girls are getting plenty of light.

Lights too low? Maybe not low enough to burn, but you may need to raise them to allow them to stretch more.

That's not a light issue, my point was it's not even close for that space

What nutes u using and how much?
Tap or ro water?
And enzyme cleaner like hydroguard or z7?
How often do you change the rezz?

Etc etc etc

Potassium deficiency is seen.

I am using Sensi Grow A&B, B-52, Voodoo Juice in RO.

Got around 120L in total and had deficiency problems at 680 ppm (240ml Sensi Grow A, 240ml Sensi Grow B, 250ml B-52, 250ml VJ).

I upped it to 880 at first and the problems seemed to persist but maybe I was a bit impatient and I upped it to around 1000ppm (which I actually know is a lot) and then started the burns.

I changed the res yesterday and gave:
300ml Sensi Grow A
300ml Sensi Grow B
150ml B-52
110ml Rhino Skin

PPM: 880

I change the res every other week at the moment.
I wasn't a usual checker for pH but noticed it goes up around 7-7.4 after some days so I started treating the water with pH down. Though I'm not sure it's a good idea to use that stuff with Sensi ph perfect series.

No hydroguard or anything else unfortunately. They can't be found where I live. I only have access to Orca and it's really expensive. I actually had H2O2 in mind but read that it doesn't go well with Advanced Nutrition formulas due to chelates.

I also have a chiller btw. The water is constantly around 64.5 - 66f.

Wow that plant looks nice! I hope I can get some of those with a scrog :)
I thought the same about lights but what's said here kinda worried me... I was keeping the lights at around 30" but yesterday lowered them to 24. Now I'm thinking if that was a mistake that'll keep them bushy.

You made a very interesting point here im looking at som 12 bar 720w now instead of running it at 720w if i lowered the intensity and put it like 4 in. to a ft over the canopy could i still get the same yield. And how many whats could i save if so.
