I didn't know that growing was so intense and there were so many factors.....
Quite fascinating
Its easy, the key is start with good dirt. Then just plain tap water not distilled.

Adding the nutes messed up the microbes in the soil. Will take a bit to recover. As you said the green should start to show up daily. If things get worse let us know.

goes down to 60 at night, I have heat mat set to 68..... still get rid of heat mat?
Hey Mooo ! Had the same problem myself over Christmas, my room dropped to 56 during the night, added a small tube rad to the wall from Amazon for around £18 job done. 40 watts Got a seedling mat at the same time, great wee solution, just turn it on when it’s particularly cold in forecast.
Do what works.... nice light, same as mine lol

After the first defoliation
attempt at Mainlining
I am going for 8 total

It looks so drastic, but, I am not afraid to jump into it...
I’m not brave enough to butcher mine, I have 4 at the moment that are in flowering, but may have a crack when my next lot are coming into veg.
They are a little too small yet.....keep us posted!

Definitely extreme, I would have let a few other leaves for light absorption as to stress her as little as possible. Her growth is going to slow way down for a while.

Next time do not chop your fan leaves at this stage, especially after topping. It needs those leaves to feed.

Defoilating is for when you have a large canopy and light is not getting to the bottom fans leaves.
