Williams Trainwreck @hempdepot

Seeds were bought spring 2018.
10 seeds $66cdn. Received 15. These were regular seeds.

Tried germinating 10 in 2018 with paper towel.. Soaked in cup for 24 hours beforehand.
0/10 germinated.

2019 i tried last 5 seeds. 0/5.

Bad batch of seeds. Stay clear if looking for trainwreck.

I contacted hempdepot and mentioned the bad seeds when i was buying more seeds. Nothing was done on their end to resolve. I get it that you take your chances..but 0/15. I usually get 90%ish germination rate with their other seeds.

I got a free pack of RW TW when I picked up a pack of his Back to the Congo. This was in early 2017. I recently (3 months ago) popped 1 seed from the TW pack and it came up no problem. In fact its about 17 days into flower for the first time. As I understand it, RW TW is his Deep Wreck that's been worked to F10 to the Trainwreck. The plant I have growing meets all visual characteristics as being, at this point, heavily leaning to the description of Trainwreck.

I don't think I would default to warning the cannabis public about sour grapes.

You could say sour grapes..i consider it the same as a review which is the same if you bought something online with no return policy. I fully understand you take chances with seeds and i did not demand anything from hempdepot. The other seeds from them have been great. I was looking forward to growing TW. Hope your trainwreck works out for you and your harvest is great.
I will personally not take a second chance with 2018 william's TW seeds. It's not my default to gripe nor do i ever send angry emails to seed companies. Only informational and i buy all my seeds from there. I could care less about the money lost.

Overall.. Hempdepot has good seeds and good prices. Joeyweed c99 was good.. Beanhoarder c99 products were good. Very stealth.

thx for that practical and reasonable response. seems these days more and more you get a reply like @Haricot Vert that starts out fine but then ends with the type of thing written here. usually folks say far more nonsense though lol. strangers tell us how we should or should not be based on their outside limited perspective usually. so many act as if those who they speak to aren't adults and they need to say x,y,z, when in reality they should refrain from doing so more often than not. ijs

Seeds are always a matter of gambling.. that said..i bought some great Aceseeds.. really great breeder and excellent strains.

Yup..people like to tell others how it should be thru their lens.. they are entitled to opinions..they are just opinions.. how we react is a different matter.. i have been around weed for almost 40 years.
At the end of days..it just doesn't matter.

older guys are the best stoners I saw nothing wrong with the post or letting people know about bunk seeds, how else would anyone find out? Most places brag about replacing shipments or bad seeds so telling us that he got nothing is rather useful as well.

And don't grow their free swazi gold.. crap..what a waste of 13 weeks..going to be butter for that crap.. on the other hand..my zamedelia x old timer haze (on left side..3 of them) and fruity juice x C99 are doing fine.. i have been training them..
i smoked my 1st joint at 13.

I ended up buying some aceseeds sativas.. i am willing to wait 10-13 weeks for fire weed.. happy holidays and blaze one tonight..just because..
