Withdrawals

I typically dont smoke bud. I smoked an ounce last Christmas with little to no withdrawals and before that I smoked a few times during the summer of 2014.
This year I smoked my 2 plants (3oz) during December (my 1st grow & had to harvest them early). I would wake & bake and stayed high the entire month. It was a ton of fun! I got nothing accomplished but was stress & worry free which was the goal. :)

I'm on day 4 of quitting. The withdrawals are pretty bad. Thought I had covid at first...

Cant sleep, wide awake with an active foot that I cant seem to stop moving
Cold sweats throughout the day but mostly at night
No appetite, what I do eat shotguns out of me
Bad hand tremors on day 2
High anxiety
Coughing up phlem
Sweaty palms
Blurry vision
Irritibility
Lost sense of smell on day2

I opened a box of Irish Spring soap and couldnt smell it, I gouged it with my fingernail then held the bar to my nose and still couldnt smell it. That was scary. Alls good now. I can smell that same bar of soap along with everything else. My sense of smell is improved now but I think thats due to fasting (Ketosis).

Do you guys have any tips to lessen the withdrawals?
When you're planning on quitting for awhile, how do you do it?

As many smokers up in here that are real cannabis connoisseurs i can say this is not from weed usually in my experience if i dont have weed i crave it a bit and get nervous fast . But the craving might just be that im addicted to smoking since i smoked ciggs for 10years of my life. Thank god im over ciggs tho. I really love to smoke :,D

Like Bob mentiond its COVID . The loss of smell loss of taste, coughing etc.
Dont forget to boost ur immune system right now :) and eat well.
Wish you a soon recovery. :bigjoint:

Thanks for the replies.

Just woke up from a 6hr 'nap' and am feeling much better. If things dont improve after day 10 I'll start looking for a doctor.

I did pick up some Ivermectin, which is a horse dewormer & parasite killer. Some youtube doctor was saying Ivermectin taken prophylactically will protect you from contracting the virus. Also if you already have the virus it drastically reduces the recovery time. So I bought a tube off amazon. That said, the warning on the box said not for use on horses that will be eaten by humans. Yikes! I need to research this a bit more before eating some.
