Hi! What is up everyone? :)
I used to be very active on here, until I suddenly stopped growing due to unforseen circumstance.
But it is now legal in my state and I'm ready to grow some awesome plants.
Just picked up Ice cream punch, Purple Chem, and Lemon Frosting from Greenpoint Seeds.
I hope they're super tasty.
This will be my first grow in years, so wish me luck lol

That's awesome you're getting back to it. I was away from it for a long time too. So many new names for all the crosses! It's hard to figure out what I want.
Awesome, welcome back too! lol
Yes im a bit overwhelmed by all the new crosses also. I wanted to go with some old school genetics and still will, but after discovering all these new USA based seed banks, theres just soo many tasty options.
Something i noticed about most weed i buy lately is lack of flavorful buds and they all seem the same. So i hope thats not due to over saturation of mixed genetics, because different strains a decade ago had unique qualities that ya could tell them apart.

I think it's more due to mishandling. Not taking the time to proper ripen/dry/cure. Depending on which state you're in, it might sit on the shelf for a long time before it makes it to a retail shelf.

Thats definitely the case with 90% of cannabis ive purchased.
They just grow it and put it on the market asap no care at all. As a grower that goes against every instinct, but greed ranks higher with commercial growers i suppose.

18 days since transplanting seedlings into 1 gallon bag, and after first watering.
I believe i will finish them in 30-50 gallon bags.
Only roughly 4 months left before frost, so not sure if 50 gallons would be utilized by the roots.

This has always been an awesome source of information, and majority of the folks are very chill and helpful when it comes to problem solving.
Im unaware of anywhere else someone can upload a photo, and have many very experienced growers reply within minutes to help.
As much as i know/knew, theres soo much ive forgotten, or need my memory refreshed, and theres no better place.
We're definitely among kindred spirits here.
Greetings to you as well, bro.

I wish i transplanted them into the 30 gallon grow bags earlier, but theyll be good enough when i harvest in late Oct.
The tomatos in the background are not my plants.
Their owner isnt as invested in their production, although theyd be dead long ago if i hadnt tried fixing them, but the soil theyre grown in is not good.

My cannabis plants are all topped and will all be Low stressed trained by today. Theyre in organic living soil mix i came up with, after lots of Youtube research, and significant $ invested.
They drain and aerate well, and full of good bacteria/fungus producing ingredients, and biochar i activated with over 70 ionic minerals, fulvic acid and compost tea.
So i really hope the terp production is something special. Besides potency, flavor is most important to me.
These strains are Super Silver Haze, Ice cream punch, Purple chem, and Lemon Frosting.
