Hey guys, I still can't figure out what this shit is? I don't believe it's mildew because my veg tents rh is low to mid 50s and I have really good air movement and exhaust. I don't see any bugs, but I can't figure out what else it is.

Can you rub it and it comes off on your fingers? When i've had bad PM, I can rub some of it off onto my fingers....as opposed to discoloration of the leaf.

Nah... it doesn't rub off. I believe it's discoloration. I don't believe we have spider mites in Illinois. I could be wrong but I don't see them under the scope anyways. I don't see anything other than the discoloration.

It looks like thrips.

They are very small, long body pests. Babies are yellow adults are brownish tan.
They remind me of small pincher bugs. I hate them.

Can't tell if that's water spots or black spots. But if it's black spots nearby or under the wounds that is there poop.
They eat that also and lay eggs that are hard to find.

Looks like thrips damage to me, fighting them for a few weeks outdoors. Small very hard to see but full grown ones look like a small oval or fat worm. Are insect but look like worm to naked eye. Will be along veins of underside of leaves and on branches and stalks. Hope this is not your problem, for pm milk watered down 10 to 1 works well. De works for most mites and bugs if going organic.

Check plant throughly for pests … they look like puncture areas from pests.
Lol I have a shit ton of different bugs so it's hard to tell which ones could be the culprit, but I'm just not seeing any on the leaves. I agree it looks like punctures and sap spots next to them. You think I should spray them just in case? Do you know if Dr zymes will kill my beneficials?

Kill first, ask questions later.

Does not remind me of a thrip. looks like could be an aphid
I don't like to just kill first in living soil. I have large populations of a lot of bugs I don't wanna kill off if I don't have to, but it's looking to me like it's gotta be insect damage. I was kinda hoping it was something else though.

Totally understand your point. The good guys/predators will mostly be living... in the soil. Unless there is food on the leaves.
I can only think of one beneficial that can live very will without much food source and that pic doesn't look like it.

Just put a piece of plastic or something on top of your pots when you spray. Don’t put it off because they will get out of hand fast
I was just suggesting to squish it. But I agree +1. That looks like a lil baby Aphid.

If it's not a baby aphid and it's a good guy RIP

Do aphids do damage to the leaves?
