I'm using a WiFi Wyze outdoor timer and it failed to turn off the lights for 1 night. This is the first time it happened. I'm in week 3 of flower and hope everything is ok. What are some reliable timers everyone is using. I thought this one was going to be reliable but it failed on me.

Honestly. I know everyone likes high tech stuff with phone apps. but I like to keep it simple and this one has lasted me so far for 7 years

Just got this one:

To replace one that was a bit less hefty... this one is good for 1875w & 15A. I've been using smart outlets for my fans, but if they fail it's not as big an issue as if the lighting goes off track. My smart outlets default to off if there's a backout.

I'm done with this damn timer. It did it again. This time it went off at the right time but came back on before the scheduled time. I'm done with these wifi timers they suck. This one cannot even be set manually only through wifi I can be used.

Yep. I use an old fashioned mechanical one for lights and then some 'smart plugs' for fans. If my fans don't do what they should it's a minor issue not a major disaster.

The problem with the smart plugs I have is that if you have an outage they don't default to 'on' when the power comes back on, and sometimes you have cycle them physically to get them back up and running. I do have a ruggedized outdoor timer that I've used for years with my holiday lights that has never been off-track for times or working that has a good track record for success. but I kind of like the old fashioned ones where you bump up the little notches. Super easy to work with and visualize and I don't have to re-learn how to set them if I haven't done it in a while.
